Freightrain
Should be 673. Don't know who has it, but it is suppose to be here somewhere in town if someone had some interest and wanted a set of eyes on it. Underdog
Somebody correct me, but I believe the first H was 1953, and a bit taller.
j hancock
The H-61 was known as the "Cherry Picker" because of its height and ran from 1952-1957 with 484 units. There was also an H-60 which was the gasoline powered version between 1953-54 with 81 units produced. The truck shown for sale is an H-63 built from 1954-1958 with 4,091 built. 1 Quote JimIt doesn't cost anything to pay attention.

Thanks for the clarification. Truck in question is advertised as 1951.
j hancock
I saw that. My Mack literature indicates the start with 1954. Quote JimIt doesn't cost anything to pay attention.
41chevy
MACK production data from the museum on all production from 1905 to 1990 shows first for the H series was the H-61 made from 1952 to 1957 with 484 made. H60 made from 1953 to 1954 with 81 made. Last H series was the H81 made from 1964 to 1966 with 36 made, before the H series run ended. HeavyGunner
So the seller is probably going off of the build date which would be sometime in 51 for a 52 year model. Probably mis- titled or is mis read or mis typed and is a 1957 model year and not a 1951, which looks more possible. redtruck
All my books show H models as cab-overs, and the picture showing is a B-model tractor. Someone has their facts wrong !
