  1. No, not that complicated. Both pics were events of the same week. So the same dress. As for the boat it was parked right in the center of Moscow, half a mile from Kremlin walls. So no shooting there BTW the gears are at my shop. Looks all is good with them
  2. Difficult to disagree. E-bay guys showed the pic with the markings. The part has MCV4 on its surface. The box label has MCV2. I have no idea is that visor for a B, another Mack or just a off-brand thing but I'd like nobody of BMT crew or just anybody else will buy the part they can't use.
  3. Not much use of my post but I have a really nice pair of a RD double frame rails. Beeing needing a pair for my R at the same time. Could use RD ones but need them longer for a sleeper configuration and here the VIn stamping is inportant thing for registry. Also I'd like to keep along original style of my frame and it's less of rail heigth. So I will keep attention to this thread. On the other hand I've started thinking on possibilities to ship heavy parts to the US. Looks like some of my stuff might worth to be sent to the country of origin.
  4. Looks good. Keep on going
  5. Here's what I have of Lund on my R-model. If you relate it to what they show on the pics there's definetly a difference.
  6. Happy Thanksgiving guys!
  7. You know when you want to own one more Mack you generally need a storage and some cash also. But when it concerns girls it's difficult to have more than one at a time. So at sertain point I realized I should switch a trigger. Honestly that one is about the only one I miss sometimes. She was happy and eager to do just about anything. Also enjoyed riding on a motorbike's back seat. On a dark side she had a (small) kid and drank too much of beer.
  8. No I haven't. And also don't know who she is. Looks like I missed something again. But some while back I got my own on the same style. Had been with her for some months until realized I needed more time to support my rust addiction.
  9. Well, damn right. On the other hand if I found i must it doesn't mean I do.
  10. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mack-Truck-Fiberglass-Lund-Sun-Visor-MCV4-MC2-Superliner-New-Old-Stock-Vintage/263332097821?hash=item3d4fd0ef1d:g:F7IAAOSwhVxaEL32&vxp=mtr They claimed it's a R-model one but looks more as for a B to me. Although I might be wrong but the mark on the box (with the script of R-model relation) doesn't match the stamping on the part.
  11. Any good results of?
  12. Looks great! And really nice to see the progress. I like the idea of body rebuild. But making such reproduction parts I noted they might look too fresh sometimes. So I practiced making new sheet metal parts that sand blasting them and keep outside for a year or more. Than blast again, paint and assemble. This way steel gets traces of rust removed and looks ancient. But good of its shape and rust-free. Thank you for sharing so many stages. I don't remember seeing AC resto in progress.
  13. Really great issue this time! Neat truck show pics. Did you color bright some of them? Leaves work and the wax work are beautiful. Interesting shot of the plane travelling on the pick-up And Diamond-T model is nice. Is it built of AMT or modified some way? And the last scenarie road pic - it sure worth to be used as a screen wallpaper. Or even to be re-painted by brush and put on a wall framed
  14. Yes, now I see, that's the one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAHeNo4FKxQ
  15. Cool thing! Congrats on the purchase. I like the original dump body too. Fenders are of an easy form and could be reproduced of sheet metal if you really want. And looks like a good weather in Ontario today Vlad
  16. One of my favorites were SAAB-96. There was a guy here in Moscow in late 90's who collected 4-5 of them.
  17. Impressive sample of ingeunity and modern technologies we might be seeing on the road soon. But makes me wonder once again of compromizing efficiency with complexity and durability with a final count of the operational costs.
  18. One risky entertainment could be entered into with thjat glass hood. You should check the quality of a particular hood you're going to tinker with. Starting of thickness of the walls. Engine heat or even the sun may ruine all filling and painting after installed on a truck. OEM hoods are known of their properties but that thing might be needing some investigation. If putting it on a truck I personally would cut the split lines the way original steel parts get to each other. Just my taste.
  19. G'day Swishy, Is that the truck you can see on You-Tuuube its Lanova engine running? As for re-wiring it's one of the entertainments I'm going to go through. Gonna keep it closer looking original
  20. It just doesn't clean the right side of its track well enough. So the FR wheel goes higher forsing the axle to lean.
  21. This thread currently has more replies than the recent Pics of the week issue had. So seems like OD is still with us. And I like Vegas..
  22. That is the last thing you can do any moment. Sounds about like you have a wrong truck so should replace it completely. The power divider could be opened from the drive yoke end taking off the parts step by step. Or could be removed completely driving off the bolts which attach its body to the main diff housing. You may be getting some troubles parting it out on a bench this way though. The carriers content is generally a easy thing excepting divider. Just two sets of gears in each one. And if you have a real break of teeth you're automatically on a shoulder with no move. And sure presence of broken parts in the oil together with "silver powder".
