I have a use for those if you don't go to the gun store and get one
  5. If the leak continues use a small mirror to look very closely at the surface where the filter seals check for cracks in the aluminum it happens and is sometimes hard to see

I don't have any video just have some pictures that I have a hard time loading. I don't use the yarder as much as I would like to we do a lot of ground logging here if you put the tracks on the back of the tigercat you can get around on some pretty steep ground

Yes I am a contract logger I specialize in steep slope mountain logging this picture is of my brother in law and his son's yarder they are still in Washington state it is a Skagit trailer mount Washington 127 I think it weighs in around 225000 it needs a D9 to help it up the mountain but when it is set up it's awesome. I am in north Carolina now and I have a little bit smaller yarder it's hard to get the big machines around here
  13. The contact points inside the brake light switch get ate up like a set of points in an old ignition system and all you can do is change it out also anywhere a wire is allowed to flex or wiggle over time its like bending a paper clip back and forth until it breaks it is hard to find these things and like you said there are ways around them

That was my old shop this is at my work shop where I put a E6 350 in our yarder it's a British foden 6x6 tuff to get that in there because it is right hand drive and I used an 8LL

Really nice lift DCW my bike only weighs 350 pounds I know a lot of the Harley guys would just pick it up and put it on the table to work on but I am getting old and getting down on the floor is getting harder. If you were going to build one for someone what would it cost?
  16. Does the Trunnion in the picture go with the rear ends?
  17. Before you charge the parking brake circuit and release the brakes if you have air on the stop light switch it is getting through one of the other valves and they can be hard to track down if it is a problem only after releasing the park brake the upper brake chamber can leak through the seal separating it from the lower brake chamber and leaking into the service brake system
  18. I have found in the past that with the park brake released (yellow button in) it usually is coming from one of the park brake chambers leaking through to the service side
  19. Yes just pull the big main pressure line and plug it at each valve and build up air check one at a time also the one for the front brakes
  20. I believe the tractor protection valve would have to be charged before any air pressure could get from one side to the other the brake relay valves for the service brakes are in the system also and are suspect to leak pressure back through the service brake circuit

    Dual tanks

Yes if you look at the front bottom of the fuel tank there should be a shut off valve same on both tanks with a fuel line connecting them
  22. For a quick check I use a small bottle jack on the spring behind the axle to jack against the frame just a little bit and remove the shackle and you can then check the bushings and pins
  23. We always put on fresh gaskets, once the fire ring is crushed and used its compromised, I would think having a squashed spot in it probably would not last long
  24. I found this some time ago but have not had to use their services yet, they say they specialize in reproducing gears of all kinds from reverse engineering and from drawings may be worth a call to see if it is cost effective Circle Gear and Machine, Inc. 1501 so. 55th ct.
