  1. Wow look at that what an awesome job years in the making
  2. Not sure what valve you have there are several different ones but this one is attached to the tank with a 1/2 inch pipe the port on the left is the service brake and the one in the center is charging the tank when the air is disconnected it applies the brakes in an emergency
  3. Are you still using a series parallel switch with 4- 6volt batteries? And all of the cable ends are good and clean where they go into the end terminals
  4. If you can hear the solenoid clicking it's working but a lot of times the o-rings on the solenoid get baked hard over time and lose pressure easy to change them out if you have not already
  5. Visible smoke is normal even a little oil, excessive smoke is usually accompanied by a fair amount of oil dripping

  11. I switched to the Milwaukee hand held band saw years ago just more user friendly but takes a little practice to get accurate cuts
  12. I second that, I have seen to many people spray to much ether in an engine to get it started usually in cold weather, and afterwards it needs ether to start it even though its not very cold when I tear down to rebuild ill find broken rings the smaller the pistons the smaller the rings they wont handle it as well as a large bore with bigger piston rings we have 2 pieces of equipment down right now that had a lot of hours on them one with a cat 3056 and the other with a cat 3126 both were ether addicts when the cold weather came

  14. .2 v is not much of a drop the inside of the ignition switch does wear out but seems more like a ground issue from the instrument panel back to the frame or cab ground to battery ground

  19. Charge air cooler is built like a radiator with tubes out of aluminum its common for them to split a tube especially on the side by the radiator dropping boost and making whistling noise easier to find when you remove the cooler and look for dark stained areas or pressure test
