  1. What is with the Canadian stretch on the bogie's I have seen that before on the R models and My truck driver friend said they ride rough but that LM in the first picture is super awesome some of the LM had offset cab and some did not never understood why
  2. Sorry it's not us at the logging end of things our wages have not changed it's corporate America and all of the people in the middle who need a big new beach house or bigger boat in the marina
  3. It looks great thanks for the pics what did you do with the seam on the back of the cab just above the rear window that normally has a piece of aluminum trim over it ?
  4. Charge air cooler is built like a radiator with tubes out of aluminum its common for them to split a tube especially on the side by the radiator dropping boost and making whistling noise easier to find when you remove the cooler and look for dark stained areas or pressure test
  5. USMC 1984 1st tank battalion Thank you to all of the veterans who came before me to pave the way for me to do this awesome job

We had trouble with the 2000 CH 613 E7 460 same problem shutting down until it got worse and was difficult to get started again I had to replace the engine wiring harness and both oil pressure sensors after checking the 2 big connections at the ECM there was oil there it was being pushed through the wiring harness until it started shutting down injectors

A friend from Virginia stopped by for a visit on a journey from home to Texas and back that's a lot of miles for a 36 ford original flathead V8 ran great no problems except for the crap gas messing with the carburetor at least it has no ECM or sensors to shut you down it's a great car

Picture for Onyx still have not made any video maybe someday finally got a pic of one of the yarders I use here to load doesn't always work for some reason maybe when it dries out I can get it set up again and try video
  11. It can be welded I have done several aluminum frame repairs its important to preheat the area, and we always had an insert made from steel so it fit snug like a double frame best to do both rails and spread the stress out its a lot of work and if it has a crack now it can keep growing best to stop it early I have seen fish plates added to the outside usually the crack will return through the plate

  16. If the leak continues use a small mirror to look very closely at the surface where the filter seals check for cracks in the aluminum it happens and is sometimes hard to see

I don't have any video just have some pictures that I have a hard time loading. I don't use the yarder as much as I would like to we do a lot of ground logging here if you put the tracks on the back of the tigercat you can get around on some pretty steep ground

Yes I am a contract logger I specialize in steep slope mountain logging this picture is of my brother in law and his son's yarder they are still in Washington state it is a Skagit trailer mount Washington 127 I think it weighs in around 225000 it needs a D9 to help it up the mountain but when it is set up it's awesome. I am in north Carolina now and I have a little bit smaller yarder it's hard to get the big machines around here
  24. The contact points inside the brake light switch get ate up like a set of points in an old ignition system and all you can do is change it out also anywhere a wire is allowed to flex or wiggle over time its like bending a paper clip back and forth until it breaks it is hard to find these things and like you said there are ways around them
