  1. That Ahrens Fox is really cool! What is the chrome ball on top of the pump?
  2. I've had the H out for three 5 mile runs, the temp gauge gets up to 190 and shutters still closed. I have a spare stat, took it apart and everything looks good inside. I did a test with it, here's the youtube video. I put it in my truck and now the shutters open at 190. The Capital City Chrome truck show in Pataskala is Saturday, if it's not raining I plan to take my truck there.
  3. Seems like the 3 row would put out more heat vs. the 2 row.
  4. Someone asked for interior photos, here you go. I had the cushions reupholstered a couple of weeks ago, the guy called this "bus vinyl". He did a nice job, $800 for all 4 cushions. I found some vintage green seat belts on Jegs.com for $25 each, I like the look. You can see there's no horn button, I went to install it and the wheel is a little egg shaped so I'll have to do some reaming to fit the button. I tried to get a mattress to fit the truck, but anything even close was $300 or more so I went on ebay and bought a piece of 6" thick upholstery foam for $90 and it fit snugly. I even got a green bed sheet for about $20 on ebay. You'll notice the driver's seat is a Bostrom West Coaster, it came out of my Brockway. I knew I'd better have an air ride seat for this truck, even with that it still rides like a bucking bronc.
  5. I had the chassis that my cab and engine came off of, and the cab that came off my tandem chassis. I'm trying to get things sorted out and cleaned up, so I put the cab on the chassis. It goes a lot faster when you don't have to worry about scratching the paint! The cab structure is all rusted/broken so you can see the strap I put on the side of the cab to stiffen the steps. My wife wants to use it as yard art.
  6. If the ball on the drag link isn't worn too much you can tighten it up. Remove the cotter pin, tighten the screw plug all the way down, then back off to the first cotter pin hole. Hopefully your coil spring behind the ball isn't broken.
  7. Like this?
  8. The dunnage in your pickup looks like it came from someone who used to pull a flatbed. 😉
  9. But if the DD was tilted over, wouldn't it slobber oil? Oh, wait...
  10. mechohaulic, that brings back memories! I worked at Cat and we would get LN9000 Fords that had a 3406 halfway under the cab (slightly tilted). It was a royal pain to swap cylinder packs in those.
  11. I like the 10.00-20s on the drives, and that red paint is shiny! Very nice!
  12. SOLD
  13. This is a pair of 55 gallon aluminum tanks off a 1962 B model. The frame brackets are included, but the straps are gone. There are some straps off a Ford you can have if you want them. They are solid and don't leak, but the passenger side tank has had a patch welded in. These have the genuine "Mack" ID plates on them. $200 firm.

    H67 Steps

I have a pair of steps, a spare RH step, and an RH side skirt. The pair is actually pretty straight and rust-free, but the extra one is pretty bent. The skirt is bent, but not rusty. $100 or best offer, in central Ohio. PM me if interested.

    H67 Doors

I have a pair of doors, they have some rust and damage but they're solid and mostly complete. $100 or best offer for the pair, located in central Ohio. PM me if interested.
  16. I went to Macungie in 2019, he had a lot of beautiful Macks there.
  17. I got it out today and washed the shop dust off of it, tomorrow I'm going to take it out on the road for the first time. My street is too busy the rest of the week for a shake-down cruise. They're building a huge Intel micro chip plant a mile up the street, the dump trucks roll by my house all day long. They even drive dozers and hoes down my street...the car tires whine as they roll over the cleat marks in the blacktop.
  18. To quote Matthew Broderick, "That's Africa hot!"
  19. I've never filled one of these caps before...it says to fill it up to the bead. I assume you fill the entire bottom cup? Once you get it up to the bead it starts to trickle over into the center area. It takes like 2 quarts to fill the whole thing!
  20. I like the mouse poison block on your shop cart! SOP when you have a barn, old truck, old car, anything like that.
  21. Thank you for the kind words guys!
  22. A friend of mine runs a fab shop, he made me a bumper out of 1/8" steel to match the original dimensions. The factory bumpers were 3/16" but my goal is to not hit anything with this truck. I painted it bright silver like the rims, it doesn't look too bad.
  23. When you click on the 3rd button from the right at the top of the page, you can't see them?
