  1. I'm sure they get some cracks in the walls, but if the crew knows what they are doing it can be done well. They can even move brick buildings, I watched them move a stone arch from a railroad station in Columbus Ohio.
  2. They moved a historic school building to Williamsburg VA, as you can see a tough old Mack supplied the motivation.
  3. The old United Pacific C555702 is kinda oval, but I don't know the measurements. It's only $4.56 plus shipping. https://www.finditparts.com/products/8648479/united-pacific-c555702?srcid=CHL01SCL010-Npla-Dmdt-Gusa-Svbr-Mmuu-K8648479-L386&srcid=CHL01SCL010&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI97_i16DU_QIVwBvUAR2JBQt9EAsYBSABEgJNX_D_BwE
  4. Flex shaft is an attachment that chucks into your dremel, then you can put a wire wheel or whatever tip you want in it.
  5. Here's a stunning western Mack wearing Monfort colors.
  6. These guys have four power units on this...by the looks of the exhaust at the beginning of the video, they're really straining! Also, that's some beautiful scenery.
  7. The Maxidyne gold against that nice green looks great!
  8. I bought my mat from RubberCal (the place that mowerman showed), price was good and I like the look. Not necessarily original-looking but not bad either.
  9. Actually the 673 engines weigh 2,000 lbs. I can dig out my repair manual, that's where I saw this info.
  10. You could try A & T Rebuilders, they're supposed to rebuild Mack water pumps. https://atrebuilders.com/product/rebuilt-mack-truck-water-pump-00811m/
  11. Today I put the defroster hoses on, found them at https://www.dennis-carpenter.com/ . One thing for sure...it was a lot easier to stand on my head under the dash of a truck when I was 25 years old. The hose is Thermoid brand, that's a name I haven't seen for a while.
  12. Is it $5k for the truck, or $5k for the rust?
  13. Tell me about it...the u-bolts on my camelback rears torque to 1400 ft. lbs.!
  14. His name is HarryS , if you search you'll find him. I don't know if he finished the electric conversion.
  15. My truck had a valve on the inlet side of the fuel pump that had a cable hooked to it, maybe your truck had the same thing. The valve could be an emergency shutoff in case the regular shutoff doesn't work.
  16. Mean Green, do you have photos of your avatar truck on here? Judging by that little picture, it's a nice looking truck.
  17. Says it's genuine Mack, located in Arkansas. https://www.ebay.com/itm/285023338223?hash=item425cb6feef:g:yEIAAOSwOcRjYYUQ&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoF8RmYxZEXa7J20sCnif%2BPjnl%2FB0bDno4vwqdT3zNWLwuB2MjLsBVL00wVvgqBA5nJMtEiylwCfXUi5lsy6eVGOIx29ePV2C6ERAImwjWBopVFmfavW6C1gIzP%2Fbwsje9%2Fe%2Bg55fynJcoEnliVoKR%2FlyHi%2FZ7r2reL1tRlUjMoCHkf1Fbs9cXcNubsrE5BpExS%2FX%2BGLIwx8rfAtv8ff40O4%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR6aVvPWpYQ
  18. Could be a nice truck but quite a bit of rust for $20k asking price. Former fire truck located in Pemberton NJ. https://www.ebay.com/itm/185712212701?autorefresh=true
  19. "I'm gonna barbecue your a**!"
  20. I'm doing the same thing with my E brake handle, putting it back just for looks.
  21. GMC....General Mack Corp.?
  22. Those copper lines look more original, and besides they look nicer than plastic.
  23. Well, I finally got all the parts for the front end cleaned, repaired, bought, painted, made, etc. I have to say a big thank you to John Chalmers, he sold me the Mack logo, H67 logo, and the parking lights.
  24. I have an R G Smith truck, but different R G Smith!
  25. When I was a kid, I helped work on my Dad's trucks. The memories I have are priceless, I think your helper will have the same feelings when he's an adult.
