  1. Do you have teck tool can you watch the temps the scr needs good heat to operate! Soot level good? Good preasure on the doser? All sorts of things can cause this stuff to happen Even a turbo issue , are you in a cold climate? if the heater stops working it will cause the scr not to work and wouldn't tell you why we ran in to this last week! I think Mackpro has got a good handle on this stuff He may chime in here shortly There are several guys here That may point you in the right direction I am not a guru on this crap!
  2. We have yet to see catylist failure Chances are you have build up of crystal at the inlet to the def cat box very common! pull it apart and look
  3. Drive shaft and stick
  4. Ya But the bull gear job aint cheap add that to the rebuild you may just as well do the drop in !
  5. your 285 Air to air will work just fine in my opinion they took it right up to 315 with that set up!
  6. What HP Is your engine? the water over air Usually came with a 350! Sorry Can't remember how it was plumbed! I Don't really see the benefit anyway!

  8. That year of engine would simply have a throttle and dash switch IS it dynatard or JAKE ? The original dynatard setup would work best for this it is normally activated by engine RPM! Gear down would be how ever the trany is regulated .
  9. What year
  10. The mack would look good with a scania V8 under the hood anyway !
  11. Its dynatard A jake would have a spacer between the valve cover and the head!
  12. Drill it and drive a roll pin in! make sure your not to close one of the nut drive lugs when you drill and it will be fine.close it back up
  13. You would be going backwards with mp 10 Check PAI For A kit decent pricing on a full kit!
  14. There have been some issues with the engine brake Valve from time to time!
  15. Unfortunately chances are the def is not injecting properly and needs repair anyway its only a matter of time that the crystal build up will choke off the exhaust anyway ! if the speed sensor disconnect works bite the bullet and get it in there!
  16. Def tank full ??? If the truck is standard try unpluging the speed pu on the trans this will get you to the dealer a little faster 5 mph it is a bit ridiculous they have a derate set so low ! and dangerous if your on a freeway!
  17. Go around and tighten ALL the hose clamps on the charge air and compressor inlet pipes
  18. Cause it costs them money! I guess!
  19. Thanx for the UPDATE post MP Hope Your Correct ! The injector cup issue is still in the mix in my opinion if they are using cam contact to build pressure at least now it will only be three injector cups to fuss over! and the separate internal Wiring is a true bonus! However Time will tell! Hopefully we will have something to be proud of once again! MAYBE!?
  20. The 12 sp held up behind Freakin Cranked up V8 No problem in that sense it would be fine in my opinion how ever the mount on the engine would put extra stress on the trans bellhousing area that might be an issue! If your looking for more gears you have the option of a Aux trans but you need to be carefull the engine ECU needs to be tweaked to accept the use of the extra gears!
  21. Beneath the oil cooler there is a funny looking hose we call it the elephant hose that hose has a screen in it drain the coolant and check that screen it may b plugged!
  22. Im an old school guy Give me camel back any day Over any air or block set up How ever I ain-t driving it I just work on the stuff!
  23. If it is exhibiting the long crank times and the normal injector cup symptoms definitely go there, the last one we had like this was the old style coolant cooled 7th injector leaked coolant over a long period of time it biult up powder from the coolant as well on the dpf
  24. Also if you have the under hood inlet air flap valve check that its not stuck open!
