South Carolina has at least wised up a little. They now have pictures on the handicapped placards hung off the mirror in the windshield so that the "kids" can NOT use granny's tag to park close to the door. BUT it is probably only enforced if someone complains? And then that is probably called racist!!

To go from C to F: Divide C by 5 then multiply by 9 and add 32. To go the other way divide F by 9 then multiply 5 and subtract 32

I agree with BCR, I am a member of both and newsletter editor for the ATHS Palmetto Upstate chapter. I have also worked closely with Phil Hrynenko in establishing the ATCA Palmetto Classic Iron chapter along the I-95 corridor of SC. The mission statement of each organization is different.. ATHS, the history of the trucking industry. ATCA the history of the trucks. As antique / historical truck enthustists we can learn from both.. KSC: The "tone" of ATHS has improved greatly with the replacement of Johnson!! The new man Don Bretthauer is much more down to earth and willing to work with everybody.

I do it by bringing up both sites at once .. start your reply here the switch to the other site and go to the top address bar, highlight and RIGHT click on it and click copy.. switch back to your reply, position the little blinky line where you want the link to be inserted, again RIGHT click and then click on paste.. Hope this helps

Learned to love scrapple when I lived/worked in northeast PA.. And like the salt potatoes also being originally from upstate NY.. But I still do not like pinto beans or the many greens served here in the south.. Guess that is why my wife calls me a "Dumb Butt Yankee!!!"

This was in about 1976-77 and my memory ain't that looong!! Basically if I remember right it was one of those North Joisey operations that went bankrupt on Friday afternoon and reopened Monday morning with a new name about every 6 months!! -

There was an outfit in Fort Lee NJ that had that set up on a GMC for dumping SeaLand containers of PVC powder into a blower for loading pnuematic trailers. -

That Matlack unit was probably out the Albany / Glenmont terminal.. I had just started driving out of Syracuse when that storm hit and remember working on New Years Day as the top guys did not want to..We had the older White 4000's with "Velvet Ride" about the only good thing was it did not hop and would go thru snow.. -

"To each his own" This is why I enjoy truck shows a lot more than a lot of the car shows. NO NIT PICKING JUDGING!! A person can enjoy, and learn from, many of the modificatons. Especially in the safety areas if it is being driven on the road.
