  1. When I was a kid the city park in Ithaca NY had one with a 41-47 Dodge front clip. I think(??) Toro still builds them for golf course work?
  2. Joe That is why I said Think and question marks.. Thanks for the correction.. Just knowing Johnson, I figured he would want the extra $45!!! Tom I will be going in 340 to 15 and then 30 also..
  3. Peter Mack Thanks for the pictures of the DT. Will print them out for my friend Brocky
  4. Red Horse Thanks!! It only has 32,800 original miles. It is in my garage but have not done much work on it yet. Originally purchased on Long Island but came to South Carolina almost new. The only rust is some surface rust on the front of the hood and grille piece. Brocky
  5. Another place to start looking is at older New York State snow plows.. Mack RM, FWD, and others ran single 12:00 X 24's on the rear drive with offset rims so they would track with the steers. I do not remember Walter or Oshkosh running spokes?
  6. The spectator admission charge is $10 per day per person, under 12 free. If you order the $25 Pass / name tag from KC it is good for the entire show from when trucks start arriving on Mon-Tues thru clean up on Sunday.
  7. Good!!! I am glad to hear that!! I was not sure how much KC HQ checked the registrations against the member list?? Did they Register online???
  8. JT Are you an ATHS Member??? Do not quote me on this BUT I think(??), and stand to be corrected, you have to be a member to to show a truck. ATHS IS MONEY HUNGARY!!!!! Nothing like good old ATCA where it only costs an extra $5 for a non-member to show his truck. Also am pretty sure you have to be a member, or at least order it thru a member, to get a $25 four day spectator pass. I was able to get one for my wife's non member girlfriend last year, when I called to get it, Kathy did not question me. By January they should have the show registration info/forms online at aths.org. Read all the fine print!!!! Brocky
  9. As usual ATHS only lists the high dollar places. I know there are Super 8, Econolodge, Motel 6, and similiar in the area. will have to Google them. If they are within walking distance of one of the host hotels you can still get a bus pass. I think they were only $5 last year. I understand Shelly has taken over the show operations from Johnson so things should run smoother in the future.
  10. Thanks for the pictures.. looks like ya'all had a good day. Do you have a picture of the Diamond T wrecker on the loboy behind the 950 DT??
  11. Thanks for the pictures and history Lesson,, Made me realize I did not take any of the house I was born and raised in or my home town when I went thru it on the way to Cortland last summer.
  12. They Will IF you tell them you are there!! But there is no way the can check bunks without getting shot!! and I doubt if they will have any kind of control on shower useage either??
  13. Is this Logan with the pony tail?? He is the man we had a great visit with. We got him going in the right direction for some Diamond T information.
  14. Mike Are you trying to bump FWD out of his "Julie the cruise director's" job???? Actually a big thank you to you and Doug for taking the time to entertain some "out of town" Mack enthusiasts. Brocky
  15. Tom Thanks for the pictures.. It has grown since we were there last year on the way home from Lititz.. Dave had the Studebaker and Federal tractors at Springfield MO this year.. They are big beasts!!
  16. My 55 F-600 after we towed it out of the barn and got it running..
  17. Tom You were by my truck early. The dew was still on and the windows were up. Might have been at the Rotary Picnic tables drinking coffee?? Sorry I missed you as I also walked my legs off.. Thanks for all the great pictures.. not sure if I have any more to add. Got home Sunday 4PM and have not downloaded camera yet.
  18. Will be up by late Thurs afternoon with my Diamond T.. Is there going to be a BMT Picture???
  19. A bloke is Aussie slang for a man or guy. A mate is a bloke who is a good friend.. If you go to the Just Old Trucks forum in the topic of Down Under AU, NZ and start at the begining of the 170 pages a lot of the Aussie slang is explained. http://forums.justoldtrucks.com/870/Down-Under-AU,-NZ
  20. Jim Thanks for the proper info..I am lousy with remembering them.. Lots of times I can put a face with a truck but not the name.
  21. Maddog.. You are putting the hurt to my ole memory banks!!! This man is from Central / Western Maryland and I think(??) he said he bought it from a towing outfit in either Maryland or southern PA??? That picture was taken at Cortland in 2010 but he has had it to Macungie several times also. Hopefully some one else has also talked to him and knows a better answer.
  22. As long as Mike Superdog opened the door.. Here is a cousin I would like to have!!~
  23. 2030 I think the sideways pictures are because you are taking them with a phone??? And I do Not know hoe to correct it other than sending them toy your base puter and then rotating them?? Maybe some one more savvy than I can help you??
  24. No!! There are ditches!! Just no shoulder.. Just like here in South Carolina our lawns come all the way out to the blacktop and there is grass in the ditches we mow.
  25. Those fenders almost look like what they used on the front wheel drive units?? Did that one have super heavy big springs on the steering axle??
