  1. And here is the one which took the "Directors Award" at Macungie this year.. 1935 DT 211 owned by David Kellerman from up by Port Jervis NY. Will be next years dash plaque..
  2. Dave Hope you do not mind me stealing some of your thunder.. Here are some pictures of your new Diamond T I took at Springfield this year. I know it will make a great addition to your fantastic museum. Brocky
  3. If the route Mike suggested does not work, Do you have any friends in either Vermont or Alabama??? If so PM me for details..There is Broadway Title in Birmingham AL but they are expensive..
  4. Dave Saw it and took pictures at Springfield MO.. Am surprised that he is selling it?? Thought he said he spent 15 years on the resto?? It is a great truck and will look good at the museum. Brocky
  5. Dave It was great meeting you at Macungie.. Please post a picture of the Diamond T when you get it. Brocky
  6. Since it has set for any period of time you will have to go thru the whole brake system rebuilding or replacing everything from the master cylinder to the wheel cylinders. brake fluid draws moisture and corrodes everything as well as the rubbers disintergrate over time. and the steel lines rust from the inside. The extra time and expense WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE!!! I got a rebuilt Hydro-vac for my Ford F-600 from BEPCO, Winston Salem NC 336-760-0740 or 800-735-1154 came FedEx in about 2 days.. Save the box and styrofoam for your core return.. I do NOT know if there is a way to add a dual master cylinder to this type of system. I have not done so on my F-600. The control on the steering column MAY(??) be a hydraulic brake lock,in addition to the parking brake. A lot of fire trucks had them..I doubt if it is a trailer application valve as vacuum braked trailers were long gone by this era.. Your hand parking brake applies to the drive shaft right behind the tranny, some are drum and some are disc. First soak the linkage good with panther pi$$ and the see if you can adjust it up stronger if there is any lining on it. If what you are describing as a "scissors lift" is one which lifts the whole body straight up then dumps it, SAVE IT as they are scarce.. They were used only by coal delivery trucks from the 20's to the 60's and a few roofing companys. You have a good looking truck.. Keep the pictures coming!! You will find plenty of help on this board. Brocky
  7. Definately looks like a refuse truck cab.
  8. Will say it is an L model Mack.. By the air cleaner possibily repowered?? But at lease vented with no side panels. We used to run our Brockway Gas jobs with the hood sides folded under that way in the summer.
  9. Here is the response from the Just Old Trucks "What Am I" Expert Thanks Brocky. This has a familiar look to it, I'll have to see what I can dig up. I think McCullough Road King is the right answer. Take care,Jeff
  10. Paul That is a very interesting Brockway.. Also looks like it had center point steering?? Wonder how he kept i diesel cool with that small radiator??
  11. Vlad Thanks for the pictures.. A heartfull memory for a lot of people. And a great experience for the owners of the fantastic vehicles.
  12. Gotta slip in a couple of pictures of Brockways. These are by far the best Father and Son restorations I have ever seen.
  13. GearHead It was great to meet and visit with you. Glad you were able to get to see some of the sights. If you ever get into the Carolina's keep me posted and I will attempt to do Yardo's "Julie the Cruise Director" job down here. If you run into Geoff tell him I said Hi. Brocky
  14. Great Job and congrats on the museum piece Either way I will get to see it as I am planning on doing the museum on Friday Morning
  15. I knew I had not seen Much of them recently... Sorry to hear of another company going down the tubes.. There were several of their trailers parked behind the Keystone museum last fall on our way home from Lititiz
  16. Chuck Thanks for looking up the Brockway Picture.. It is a sharp unit.. Actually a Big Thank You for all the pictures from this show. Brocky
  17. Chuck Do you have a picture of the Brockway behind the B-61 Mixer?? Looks to be painted the same as the mixer??
  18. Jason Primary answer: Sunrise to Sunset In actuality 7-8 AM till 5-6 PM. I think the picnic is about 5 PM. You should be able to find your filter. This flea market has a lot more parts than most shows. If you do not see one ask some of the vendors who might as they are apt to have one still at home and not enough room to load it to the show. Brocky
  19. Ray Good pictures!! Thanks for the memories... Had a cousin who lived there for 25 years and visited her several times.
  20. Here are a couple more pictures of the Brockway At Cortland in 2010
  21. I will arrive Macungie noonish on Thurs.. The TK stop will depend on my daughters orders for Thur nite dinner??? Have signed up for the Fri nite picnic. Sat I will have to play by ear as the daughter and SIL will probably bring all 4 kids over. I posted the BMT picture time and place on the Just Old Trucks site also.. If you participate, The JOT picture is Sat at 10 AM at Eddy Lucast's KBS paint sales booth. Brocky
  22. Great Find!! I drove a 1950 Walter for the Town of Hastings, Oswego County back in the late 60's. Sure would like to have one down here to scare the Hell out of these rednecks..
  23. Yardo You just have to move a tad bit further out in the boondocks where you can build a BIG, BIGGER, BIGGEST garage.. Brocky
  24. Thanks for the pictures.. Always look forward to you weeks travels. In your first picture you even found a good old Brockway..
  25. Maint 1 There is no problem dropping a trailer in the back lot. If you go to the map on the last page of the yellow section of Double Clutch you will see the field next to the RR tracks marked "Transport Parking".. This is on grass so a couple of 2X6-8's under the dolly legs will not hurt.
