NO Mack on Auction

Vlad, that "NO" has your name all over it.

Many were retrofitted with enclosed cabs. I'm wondering if this is one of the many units refurbished by Memphis Equipment......they fitted enclosed cabs. I have one of their NO sales brochures somewhere.

On another matter Vlad, tell them about the ZIL-131/137 10x10 tractor trailer (the driveshaft to the trailer tandem runs up through the 5th wheel).

Currently I can't afford to import a truck from overseas.

It seems as a good thing to me either because it gives more chances to finish my resto projects.

Those 10x10 vehicles were designed in 70's using ZIL 6x6 (in the movie) and Ural 6x6 trucks.

Both had active trailers. There was a difference though.

ZIL was biult earlier and had the drive shafts all along the trailer crossing the fifth wheel indeed.

Ural utilized more improved concept. It had a pump on the tracktor chassis and hydrilic drive on the trailer axles.

Both trucks didn't reach series production as far as I remember.

Although there's interesting point since the movie if filmed in Poland and there are Polish registry plates on it.
