That truck belongs to Richard from Export Fuel, across the street from my shop. He also had a b61 wrecker and a stretched Detroit powered cabover Pete at that show. Ben and I were digging the 12V71 powered triaxle dump that was there

Tim

I'll post more photos tomorrow in other makes

Pete was red or white??

This the dump?

looks like the van had a drip rail that matched close? looks like it mated right up. is the top chopped on the cab or is it the way the picture is???

I think they used the entire roof of the van, kinda scalped the r cab roof skin, roof rot seams very common in r model macks anyway.

Hey Tim, Ben I think was telling me about a U model somewhere close to you. Do you got any info on it? Thank you.

I'm not a fan of the chopped look but this was clearly done by someone with the skills and patience to do a job right. I'd seen this at shows in the past but I believe it was still a work in progress. This is the best I've seen it look.

The red, white, and blue KW is prolly the V-12 Ben was talking about.

That truck is totally different than anything you see out there today, from what I hear it was actually built years ago by a guy named "Pokey" Hoadwonic, he hauled steel with that truck in western PA, hauling from mill to mill. It would be cool to see a photo of it when it was first built.
