  1. That's a big one for sure. Would be impressive to see the machine that pulled it too.
  2. Wow sure hope they get a permanent spot somewhere before anything more gets ruined.
  3. Very glad we don't have those things, the closest thing we have to that is a timber tiger (pine squirrel) or a muskrat but they stay in the water.
  4. 350 4v E6 10sp rr 4.42 neway and I believe 24.5 rubber.
  5. Dang, you guys were real lucky there wasn't much of a wind or you'd have burnt up Montana and North Dakota
  6. I did see the crop duster flying today 😁 You guys had a pile of equipment stacked up at the elevator when I went by today.
  7. Looks great. I know who's brain I'll be picking when I attempt to paint something.
  8. The system has been really weird. Sometimes it tells me I don't have permission to like something or post on s thread the last weekly so.
  9. Someone a really cut up the first r model?!
  10. Yep the world sure is backwards. I want to keep the money I earn and that makes me greedy, but person who doesn't want to work wants the money you earned somehow isn't greedy. Welfare was never meant to be a career option.
  11. It's really no different than those crazy beauty pageant moms forcing 6 year olds to acts and dress far more adult than they would normally because a six year old is generally far more interested in playing, not being forced to do things that aren't fun.
  12. I bet the cost to repair all those broken bridges probably put that company out of business.
  13. Aren't you blanket stereotyping a group of people just like you accused another bmt member on here on the first page? You gotta quit towing that far left ridiculous agenda. Most people aren't bigots and don't hate any group of people, but if you listen to the left wing anytime someone doesn't understand or condone something the left goes right to calling names to shock and scare people out of their opinions and try and get them fired. Isn't thought and speech policing exactly what we are trying to stop yet the left perpetuates? I could care less what someone else wants to do. I do care when I'm now told how to feel about something and if I don't tow the same line I'm called names, being labeled and all those other things that the left is supposedly against EXCEPT when they feel offended and feel they have a right to call names. It seems you make everything about race, call veterans names and other bmt members names on a regular basis. Why not have a real conversation where you debate with thoughts instead of blanket stereotyping and name calling? You could add a lot on here but most don't take someone who drops personal insults to others every time their thoughts don't align with yours.
  14. Yeah it was in a city in the desert, I'm assuming NV.
  15. Paul you will always have my utmost respect, you were forced into the military (drafted), you learned a trade (aircraft frame welding) and you started your own business and it seems you were very successful. Yet you continue to give back, you volunteer for the veterans, you're always a wealth of knowledge.
  16. I remember that one Bob. It was a very sharp looking truck.
  17. That's the lower end of Lake McDonald so your looking at the park/north fork area.
  18. Hey Bmack beautiful pics. I was over in the valley for a wedding and took a couple of pics.
  19. Same as my town, a couple gas station, a small grocery store a hardware store and a couple of other businesses. Closest Walmart is 60 miles away, closest homedepot 100 miles away. Lol better than heavy traffic and crime I guess.
  20. I'll start off by saying I've got it good as far as the job goes so I don't have a lot of room to complain. I was just pointing out that I am not getting to do my dream job (yes it's my choice) because it would be very hard to come close to matching my pay including all the bennies. So in a sense I'm "sacrificing" the enjoyment everyday at work so I can enjoy life later. Hopefully that makes sense.
  21. You can't stop working bob, you have a shop to build and a dm to finish 😁
  22. My apologies if you've already answered this but what are the specs? Sorry for side tracking this thread KS.
  23. I agree there are many ways to skin a cat. I would love to go do a job I enjoy more but then the reality of excellent bennies (medical, eye and dental along with a pension and a 401k) I would be giving up would leave me in a crummy place as far as health insurance etc. This is where im coming from when I say a lot of people didn't/don't plan for retirement. I'm not getting to work my dream job but the trade off is I make excellent money for our area with excellent bennies which allows me to save more and hopefully retire from this job in 10-15 years and then work my dream job when I have enough money in my in investments which takes the pressure off having to make x every month to survive. Who knows I could be doing it all wrong 😁. This is a great thread, I look hearing the diversity thats out there.
  24. I would have to think that with 1/3 of Americans between 65-69 that are still working most are only doing so because they cannot afford to retire because they did not plan/save for retirement.
