The opposite side of that coin is we got cameras about six months ago. We have had zero accidents, now the 9 years I've been here as still have had zero. Nobody in our group (about 20 drivers at our terminal) has been caught on a phone or without seat belts so why invade our privacy? If I was an O/O camera wouldn't bug me at all because I know the footage would not go anywhere. At our safety meetings the show recorded incidents (our fault or not)to the whole company. I for one think that's BS. I didn't sign up to be humiliated in front of my coworkers like others have. Car pulls out in front of you, you brake hard, camera goes back 8 seconds and continues recording for 4 seconds. So if you were picking your nose, singing to the radio 8 seconds prior to the recorded event, surprise you're picking your nose, singing etc in front of your coworkers.

Yep my company had a different elog system when I started here which was out dated much like ups system sounds like and we jumped to the latest and supposedly greatest elog so we could be in compliance. Again ups could do this rather than complain about how they will lose money. Welcome to the modern day of trucking ups.

I'm not a huge fan of coe's but I love the H models. They have so much more character than the bland (to me) square cab overs. Some day I think I'm going to look for one.

Ours are mounted on the passenger window at the very top right next to the divider between the windows. Doesn't seem to effect vision much and I can reach it if I want something recorded.

I disagree KS, the temporary travel ban makes way more sense then opening up our borders for a free for all with out really knowing who is coming in. Why should we let people who have done nothing but fight with each other for 2000 years who hate us come here? Why should this happen to the US or any of our allies? Why should the world sit on its haunches as these guys slowly infiltrate the civilized countries because they figured out they can because of political correctness and try and disrupt it? If they hate the west so bad why do they come to it and then try and change it? A Melting pot is one thing but a hostile take over is another. Pretty soon the allies are going to get sick of this crap, tell the PC police to take a hike and actually do something about this.

It's so unfortunate that over restrictive, poorly thought out EPA regs have kept out proven engines with longevity and great mileage (which is never taken into account as far as emissions to create new ones goes) from hthe US and ruined the longevity and mileage of most of proven engines in th US.

I'm tired of this crap too. I've been saying for years that all his global warming is a crock of sh*t. Remember in the 70's and 80's it was global cooling? Then it was global warming and now it's climate change. Hmmm wonder why every decade and a half or so the left changes their argument slash name of this global tragedy? Maybe it's because it's a load of sh*t that they profit off of the monetarily and through votes? Remember Al Gore said we wouldn't have polar ice caps by 2015? Huh if you google Forbes online article about the satellites NASA put above both polar ice caps in 1979 you'll find that they are now bigger than ever before! Now enough of this common sense. Let's keep letting china and other countries produce everything to us with slave labor while polluting to high hell and say we're saving the earth.
