The old system put your name and there next to the like on someone's post too, however I'm with you and don't like the phony pretense saying someone reacted to something. Are you seeing a like button on your end KS? I still have not seen one and only occasionally see a heart button but not on everyone's posts. Definitely weird.

Another thing to remember is we are drastically cutting down our ability to make electricity. The greenies killed coal (just here though, we can send our coal to china for them to pollute to high help), there's been a big push to get rid of hydroelectric dams that we do have and they absolutely killed any chance of making another, they have also put the kabosh on nuclear power. Let's not forget the US is growing and the big cities already have a weak grid and wind power is spotty at best and solar power seems to be too expensive and take up way too much space for what it puts out. So I agree with dirtymilkman, there's no chance of the truck market or even the vehicle market going electric.

I'm with you, they've kept this under wraps for decades so why would the real documents surface now? I just heard a director of a new documentary called I Killed JFK being interviewed a couple months ago and the evidence and arguments he presented seemed very real and not just some coocoo conspiracy theorist. I'm probably going to butcher his documentary by trying to relay what I heard but bear with me. According to the film over 150 people in the greater circle of witnesses and people being investigated died somewhat mysterious deaths. Car runs them over, fall down stairs, randomly gunned down etc.. There is a gentleman who seems legit knows all the players in the assassination (him being one) who tells who shot jfk (himself being one of the shooters) and why? Supposedly there is proof that our government invited other leaders and anyone else who had a beef with Kennedy to watch the assassination. If memory serves correctly it's code name was the big event. I'd like to see the documentary when it gets fully released (it had a very limited release when I heard the interview).

Stupid question, aren't dump trucks and logging trucks considered off road or vocational trucks? If so, then Navistar covers more than just over the road trucks because I see quite a few IH dump trucks and log trucks.

They never took into account the amount of time, money and pollution it costs to 1) make new vehicles and 2) to get replacement parts made instead of recycling. Logic never enters the conversation of "earth savers".

No one said you're dumb but you don't seem to get the point of my last post so here's quick bullet points. •you assume that if truckers aren't regulated by an electronic nanny device that the Feds get to make all the laws on how hey operate we will break the law. •second topic is pointing out the hypocrisy of you now taking a personal interest in helping this trucker you personally met along in his fight against ELD's after time and time again YOU have crapped on all the other drivers on here when we have had the same complaints. Yes I agree. There are lots of weight length laws depending where you are, how the highways or freeways were built and how densely populated an area it is. Road trains wouldn't work very well in manhattan.

You're making a huge assumption that everyone that uses paper logs cheats. Guess all vehicles should be governed so no one can speed, people should be escorted by by police while shopping so they won't steal but it's nice to see since it's your friend who has the problem with ELD's now you'll try and vote against them since it hurts your friends bottom line. I think if you read above you'll see where we all had the same argument about ELD's hurting our wallets earlier.
