  1. I've seen the movie but didn't put it together. Gotta love the Jimmer.
  2. Hope you don't mind if I share a few more smoke and fire pics here on you thread bmack. Helicopter bucketing water to a nearby fire while I was working in my mill. smoke plume rising in the park on my way over to the mill. then it was clear st the summit on the way back the day of the eclipse
  3. Canada 🇨🇦 ?
  4. Bird season opened here over the weekend so we shot a pile of doves and Huns. Who needs a bird dog when you've got a German shepherd? He just turned one year old and this was his first bird opening day.
  5. See this one from Florence bmack? Notice the "face" blowing on the fire?
  6. I heard this story on the radio and assumed it was a prank. When I googled it it seems it sure as hell happened. thought it was nice to see something funny in the news for a change. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thesun.co.uk/news/4410920/woman-tinder-date-poo-window-breaks-silence/amp/
  7. I'd keep the simple older trucks. Sounds like you keep them in good shape so I'd run them until I couldn't get parts.
  8. There's an 80 something year old in my area and he told a very similar story about working in the big pit mine at butte. He said they used a D4 to move the electrical cables.
  9. I really enjoy wearing the Whites 10" smoke jumpers. They are expensive but I get 4-6 years out of them before I get them rebuilt. Most comfortable boot in my opinion. I have very flat feet and roll my ankles really easily. If I'm wearing my whites I don't have to worry about rolling an ankle, and they're made in Spokane Washington USA.
  10. Did you read above how to fixthis Vlad? It seemed to work for me.
  11. Here is a really nice article flying squirrels I had read awhile back in Montana Outdoors. http://fwp.mt.gov/mtoutdoors/HTML/articles/2012/flyingsquirrels.htm#.Wax41OtOKrU
  12. Sure looked like a flying squirrel to me. Glad you saved it. As always I enjoyed seeing your week of pics.
  13. Get the build tag info and post it on here and someone should be able to tell you. Welcome to the forum.
  14. Just remember with a boy you only have one pecker to worry about, with a girl you have hundreds 😁. I told that to. A close friend of mine who was making a case for girls being easier to raise. He told me he'll never get a good nights sleep again until she's married.
  15. Congrats and good luck Rowdy. Hope everything goes smoothly for awhile.
  16. I know of this farmer who has a Plymouth Gold duster in fantastic shape (about 20 years ago). He wouldn't sell it even though it hadn't hardly moved more than a few hundred yards to an irrigation pump. The car was converted to run on propane and on years his main irrigation pump would have problems he'd back the car next to he pump up on ramps and disconnect the driveline and hook it to the jerry rigged temporary set up to run the irrigation pump! Can you believe that!! Using a classic muscle car in great shape to run an irrigation pump!! Jeez the nerve of some guys 😁
  17. Very nice truck, I believe the dry/slippery switch either limits or stops the air going to the front breaks when it's in slippery mode.
  18. Great minds think alike bob, that's exactly what I said about it last time it was posted. Some day I'm going to buy some sort of fire/rescue or incident command center truck and turn it into and rv.
  19. That thing sounds mean. I was also very impressed at how fast the throttle response is.
  20. That's why you need a v12, in case something like that ⬆️⬆️ Happens you still got 8 more cylinders of raw power.
  21. That is awesome! That car scoots along pretty dang good. Pretty awesome you were able to get the factory gauges sorta retro fitted to the sbc. I was just watching a video on the motor trend channel and they took a 454 out of a 1986 rv, dyno'd it then put trick flow heads and cam in it and got a 70% increase in hp on 87 octane gas. Was a very interesting video to watch.
  22. Ok just saw another cool 12v71 video and knew I had to share it for FWD's sake.
  23. Were you able to make the factory gauges work with the new drive train or did you end up puttin aftermarket gauges in instead?
  24. It probably hasn't been moved in 2 or 3 years (when the forklift appeared) but like all used car ads say "it ran when it was parked".
