  5. I put a U model cab on a DM, It was a unbolt and bolt in installation. It was a mid 80's cab on a 1970 frame. terry

  9. Haven't actually bought any new parts for quite awhile, went to local mack dealer yesterday for the outfit I work for, picked up a dual air guage for a truck, about fell over when I signed the ticket, $170.00 for one made in Mexico guage! terry

  11. Definetly an early type air filter.
  12. That is a original lift pump, no primer on it, the fuel originally came from tank to primary filter, than to suction side of pump then pushed it through secondary filter then to injection pump. And they didn't alway have the primer pump on the lift pump. I would guess the original pump failed, they only have a couple of plastic check valves in them. terry

  16. I think the he has the SPS switch that has four battery cables hooked to it, i think it was a later SPS switch

  19. Now that I know what a quill is, have seen it done in the shop where I work by a guy with a portable setup.Seems it was about twice the 700.00 price . Was done to a couple of trucks with no problems. terry
  20. There isn't a tag on the trans, should be stamped in the case, is this the 6speed with 5 in the front box and direct ,low and reverse in the back box?

  22. Didn't the early F model mack have a spring setup to lift the cab also?
  23. Alot of times people would use the drain place for one end of a tank type heater
  24. I believe the macks for years were 50,55, and 60 inches
