    Depends how mechanical you are talking, I have seen a 94 truck that was old school pump with the linkage from the footfeed pedal, and I have seen a 94 with oldschool pump with a electronic footfeed and elctronic governor. terry

    How many miles on the truck? The early 12 spd's were a extra stick for low hole and the later were a switch on the dash, also a very clean truck,would give somebody alot of trouble free miles, no electronics ! terry

    We had a local hauler years back that put a E9 with a mack 12 spd. and camel back mack rears in a pete, was a real runner ! terry

    That is pretty normal, put front box in gear back box in nuetral and let run for a few minutes, will loosen things up.I would keep the gear oil in it. terry
