  1. I have a two spin on oil filter stand with the oil cooler attached, came off a 237, don’t have an idea what it would cost to ship? Terry

  3. Fifth photo down looks like a little bit of rust starting between frame rails ,check that real good, and look to see if outer rail has been welded along corners. terry
  4. Doesn't your spin on system have two metal oil tubes on top of filter housing one to each end of oil cooler? terry
  5. 237 came out about 68, last B was 66 I believe. Terryi have never seen that oil filter in the third pic. Does the first pic. Engine have a oil cooler on it?
  6. It’s a 237, beside the tip turbine I’m not sure what else needs to be done to make it a 285. Terry

  9. Yeah that’s older style 12 spd. A real massive transmission. Terry I personally love that transmission!
  10. I ran into this on a 72 el camino, pulled the engine thought the bearings were std, reassembled and a small knock when warmed up, come to find out G.M. would grind a crank to a odd undersize, and make a matching bearing to save a crank with a real slight flaw. terry

  13. Round ones were early housings, don't know the exact year they went with the square housings. terry
  14. I’m thinking no the bronze bushing spindle I believe is threaded on the end and I don’t know if the 44K rubber bushing has any threads. Terry

  20. Any six speed I have driven always had the main box in 3rd, 4th, or 5th gear, depends on your needed PTO speed. Terry
  21. Don't know about thread locker on the rod bolts, but on head bolts be sure to run a bottom tap in head bolt holes, and blow out with air, and a die on headbolt threads and , oil threads and washers as you said. terry
