  5. They call that a castle nut, supposed to have a cotter pin when castle nut aligns up with the hole on the knuckle. Terry
  6. So what did you use for axles on rear end pumpkin swap? Terry.
  7. Just fill filters completely up, and pump primer till hard, should start, might miss for a few seconds but should clear up. Terry
  8. The trdl1070 would work good behind a 237 or 285, but the X107 six speed would not be good behind a 350, to much lugging for that engine. Terry
  9. What model is the dump truck? Chances are the 75 is just a x107 six speed which will not work good with a 350 engine, need to check rear ratios to see if there the same. Terry
  10. Is this a single axle, or tandem, single axle on the older Mack’s can be front or top mounted? Terry
  11. I would say the R 614 is the ratio. Terry
  12. I have run into that greased inner bearing, and oil outer bearing with the middle seal on a B model Mack, just eliminated the middle seal and a different inner seal, and was good to go, terry
  13. I believe some old international’s had the front end, I think they were part of Mack at one time. Terry
  14. Definitely a couple of hard raps on top of u-bolts after assembly will tighten a little more! Terry

  22. Camelback can have the transverse rods, i guess it depends if it was ordered that way or put on later. terry
  23. I wonder if you do that cross torque rod you should do it on both rear ends, I have seen where it was added on the back rear only and the frame cracked between the two holes drilled in the frame for the bracket? Terry
  24. I do believe in the 70’s you could get a Detroit in a R model. Terry
  25. The slightest crack in a return line will let it bleed off, Terry
