  4. I wonder if you do that cross torque rod you should do it on both rear ends, I have seen where it was added on the back rear only and the frame cracked between the two holes drilled in the frame for the bracket? Terry

  11. As far as china made parts, awful hard to get away from, I have bought bearing races from Mack dealer, yeah made in china! Terry
  12. I had an older DM with a Rockwell axle that took these straight pins, all Mack axles I have seen are tapered. Terry

  19. A RD is not always double framed, it is a deeper and thicker than a standard R model frame. I have seen single framed RD’s. Terry
  20. 285 engine might not be bulletproof, but close to it! As stated before lifters can lose there hard face and wipe the cam out. Terry

  23. Not true dm 600 and u 600 were the same, I put a u model cab on a dm, identical. Terry
  24. Just to add to that U model designation, the U model goes way back to even a EHU model. Terry
