  1. I will add my opinion the air operated power divider does work alot better than the auto one, have ran both for years, i had a middle ujoint between rears break and took mioddle shaft out and engaged the air power divider and drove home to repair. terry

Forget the middle seal, thats what i call it, on the old applications, put a new inner seal stemco with the grit guard seal and wear ring is what i always used, and let the gear oil lube both bearings, after you get hub on,before you put outer bearing in squirt some gear oil in hub till it starts to run out. And i used to put some grease on both wheel bearings to lube till hub fills up completely. terry

  9. If your real careful you can put wear ring and seal in without the tools, just can't get to heavy handed or you'll bend them up. terry
  10. I used the the stemco grit guard seal and band for years, never a problem with it. terry
  11. Joey wasn.t the greased and oiled bearings just the other way around, outer was oil from end of spindle and greased was the inside bearing? terry i have ran into this on a old gas mack .

  15. If it is a double over transmission, you go 4th hi split to 5 th high split, no splits in fifth gear. terry

  20. On a engine with the spin on filters the turbo feed comes off of top of the filter heads, and the older engines with the big full flow/bypass filter the turbo feed comes off that pad on the side of the block? terry

  23. Does this block have piston cooler nozzles? Terry
  24. So what is so different with the ESI block, i thought the only difference was oil pan depth, and amount of oil filters between a two filter engine and a three filter engine. terry
