  1. That FedEx sleeper cab is neat although I wonder much more when and why those guys got that poor interaxle diff off the red truck and broke it down by the floor???!!! Did you ask them on that? It doesn't seem right, they scratched off the teeth either by some reason. Nice pick-ups, I like them both. And was anything wrong with the log truck? I didn't mention anything out of line.
  2. Thank you for sharing, interesting bunch of pics. I have no matter to discuss over the bumper sticker but that script on the trailer gate corellates with the add in the Truckpaper posted recently on here. Wonder what the reason some American trucking companies are looking for Russian-speaking drivers...
  3. Your question is not too easy. You mentioned many different transmissions and many of them were from different series of the different ages. Sure not all of them were 10 speeds. I can tell you forget about TRD-72 series. They are old single countershaft trannies, used mostly on B models etc. in sixties. T200 series is Mack newest serie and T2100 is 10 speed indeed. 1070 series conteins 10 spd either but I'm not familiar with it. Dig out the Wiki section of the forum well and look over the threads posted along the theme. Look over ebay, there are usually many offers on service manuals and trannies itself. You may try to identify what you have in your truck just relating your stuff to pictures posted there. Vlad
  4. Looks like the cost grew up pretty fast.
  5. Thank you for sharing. Nice to see trucks from your location.
  6. Pretty interesting setup. Was it a factory built vehicle? And is it alive now? I can't say it looks bad with that short nose.
  7. What the beautiful scenaries Tim! Seems you knew what place to choose for trucking. What was the air temp when you did the shots? Paul, is there really NO snow?? Maybe you need to import some?
  8. These DM's are tough trucks. Wonder how a walking beam rear suspension works on a rough road.
  9. These beasts above aren't far from Mack W71 about look. Excepting the offset. And I would say the red one look nice.
  10. Let's hope it will need some easy fixing wich doesn't require a while. Mmmm... I mean it's faster to swap an axle than re-rail the chassis. Sorry to hear.
  11. That's funny to learn about the bloke by he name of Mack. It explaines alot. But the monkey... It might make some sence either.
  12. We are proud of you Good luck on fixing the issues and future achievements!
  13. Lots of neat stuff! Paul, thank you for getting the agreement to share with us.
  14. Does anybody need the sand box with a spreader?
  15. Beau-ti-ful I like those diamond plate headlight panels. Would make the same for mine if don't like the stock ones too much.
  16. Looks like the life became different and we stay in the past. Something goes on to this world and I'm sorry and afraid if anything (like that for exampe) exists it means someone need it.
  17. There must be 12V. I'm not ready to say about ALL R-models although the most American built ones (and Canadian) were 12V all over.
  18. Tom, it was custom printed to please folks at Macungie.
  19. Looks like a worker indeed but that one is a pretty nice restored rig. Thank you for sharing.
  20. If you want to build a really good model you have to do a total scratch built. With so many options in the hobby market you're still not able to assemble a correct model. You need a frame of the kind like Superliner RW truck has (in general). But if try to use a frame off Italery Superliner you will get a frame of Freightliner or some other truck style. The same about rears and so on. So if you're not going to build up your project starting from a zero level (as I do with not much luck) you just need to buy a 1:25 kit of a different truck wich would be close to what you want about a wb and an engine/tranny and combine it to the stuff you have.
  21. If you follow the link posted above all I wrote there was straight related to your front axle bearings. As for grease you can use any newer bearing grease since it's just much more thermo resistant. I mean any newer, a cheapest modern grease will work better than a stuff people put in those bearings 70 years back. Vlad
  22. No, the book was for Mack NR 6x4. I'm pretty shure it's a stock front axle used in a LF or BX Mack.
  23. Have you posted it specially for me? The language seems common. I just didn't mention anything wrong first seeing it. I never thought but you can never see any add in English in local papers overhere. Wonder why...
  24. If I remember correctly there was the assembly plant in Schotland that butlt RHD F-models. Some one from GB posted this pic on here, he must know much better about it.
  25. That's pretty interesting. You can find the info you need in the Wiki section of this site. For a way to offer them for sale you may start from posting in the "trucks for sale" on here. Maybe not the most efficient place to get rid of them but shure the perfect one to find good homes. Vlad
