  1. Happy Birthday Carl! Enjoy as many as you can.
  2. Just no words to describe! Great place! Seems that man bought many nice Macks from the States but I hope you guys don't seem extremely bad this kind of exporting.
  3. Hello folks, I've been off the phone yesterday, sorry. That's an interesting artice indeed. My favorite is red/white KW. It was true imported in 1973 and still works. I once have seen it in person. The guy lives in the different area than me. Light green R, exactly the one in the picture, is unfortunately no longer with us. It was cut and scrapped by some pretty stupid way. The guy had crank broken down and didn't do repairs. His parents he kept the truck by their house needed some cash to cover the road taxes for the truck. Being on a road in 2000km from home the owner was called by them and answered "Just scrap it and cover the tax". The only rest was the sleeper I bought from him after got in contact. So I don't own that truck but it was a sister one to the pair I have. The same bunch of 5 ex-SGT R's wich were imported in 1996. They have their VIN's different by only 1-2 digits. Recently another local guys showed up with impressive looking yellow Pete. We became friendly now. Vlad
  4. what whom she was looking waiting for? What is that orange truck? WS or A-car? This style of hood isn't familiar to me. Probably haven't payed enough attention to "Other truck makes". Tom, thank you for the pictures. The leaves turned out no less spectacular than rusty jewels.
  5. Might be a stupid question but to each his own. What psi boost E6-350 should have when bobtailing? Sure no load but with a full throttle at a midlle rev range it never takes more that 8 psi. Generally in a flat road I see from 0 to 3.
  6. We will !!
  7. My choice is for Able. Just need a minor thing - to add a Superliner
  8. Unbelivable What was wrong to leave?
  9. Great stuff! I doubt there are many places with a big collection of Atkinson's. Diamond-T road train is impressive. Just as a truck it's a relatively rare thing with closed cab in Europe.
  10. Here you go http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/37704-1986-rw713-e9-500/
  11. No, not this one. There was a long E9 yellow Superdog with flat top bunk for something like 20-22 grand. Somewhere in NY or other North-East states. You could find it rifling through "For sale" section. Just difficult to do, there were many RW for sale recently.
  12. Thank you for the advice and explanation. Unfortunately there were not enough rubles this time to get there personally. 2020 is a long times, we'll see. Pretty sure you had nice days being there. Many big Macks I saw on the net you was able to come by. Looking foward for more news from your side.
  13. One nice tapa to talk about
  14. Interesting source. Just haven't notice anything with stack cut outs.
  15. Try this: http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/31351-stainless-steel-battery-boxes/?hl=battery+box http://www.wattstruckcenter.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=60_81&product_id=478
  16. I have no other options excepting to be the third on that.
  17. O-ho! A good amount of goddies you've catched up at the show griounds during those 45 minutes. I like the EH firetruck pick-up conversion. Done clean and looks nice. Sure hope the owner did that having no chances to restore it as a fire truck. Thank you for sharing with us, as always.
  18. Tim, Nice to see you showed out Ok and being not traced hard with Marmite stains. It seems to me though nobody yet payed attention to the fraze "There is one more MAIKSHILO in New Zealand". What you was talking about? Is that Max's last achievement??
  19. Hmmm.... When I was a kid I was told swordsmen used to pass each other by a shield side. So every body kept right side. Brocky, Those trucks are absolutely awesome! Thank you for sharing. I need some explanations though. That event at Alice Springs - was that a current truck show or the museum's collection? I doubt museum would keep so many beautiful vehicles outside.
  20. I agree on a military path. Tires have military pattern and Type 75's were used during WW2. There's description on that in Bart Vanderveen's book. And that picture was posted there either. Nice to see those brand new Mack trucks on the assembly line anyway.
  21. I suppose the picture is on the avatar.
  22. There was yellow Superliner for sale on here a while back, something about 3-5 month. It has what looked like Paccar bunk on. I checked out my folder of RW pics but haven't found it. Maybe anybody else keeps more info of it. As for me I'd prefere taboo
  23. Looks cool. I keep the idea in my brain to rework 24.5 front rims on my MH to bring them some extra offset. Maybe about 1 inch. The reason is just to improve the look. I have about the same doubts on road handling as you do. So would be glad to know your experience. MH has too short wheelbase as your F model either.
