Your trip sounds like an adventure. Sorry to hear about all those flats but that's goot you could miss any other issues. Surprized of the numper of the tyres blown though. From seeing the pis there was a great show day. And it's nice everybody of your family enjoyed the entertainment. -
Those screen savers are incredable savers. Sorry still no one with Bulldog in the background. Yes, that's true Tim, people always find a chance to be unhappy when they have everything to be almost happy Thank you for sharing, now I go to a sack with a thought that at least some one has a nice time in a beautiful land.

Yea, that Iranian deal haven't turn out nice. It seemed to me Obama had an interest in the strategial partnership. Probably a try to find support in the part of Eastern world. Doesn't look like a great achievment. As for my location that story will have uncomfortable follow. Getting back of Iran to the oil market means big increase of offer wich means lower costs. It will not be nice to Russia's oil export based economy and will push down the national currency again. I myself though am glad that local gwnt and economy will get a cold shower. It forses them to start thinking basic things better. At least a little bit.

I would say 200-300 kg for a naked skeleton of a cab. If you add doors, windows, seats etc you'll go to about 500-600 kilo's. But that's an avarage figure. At least less than a metric ton for sure.

Injection pump

You better check out the info for your pump. Because I know the only reason for those two spots in the pump. I myself is far from to be a great Mack fuel pump specialist but my book tells "fill the pump" and "drain it through the plug". Also I had a deal with German Bosch fuel pumps off Mercedes car of early 70's and they had separate oil bath. With fill neck and plug. Later models became connected to engine oil gallery and had no such stuff. -

When I polished mines I also didn't do the centers since I could cover them with chrome parts. This is what I've got after putting everything on. The covers were from Big Rig Chrome Shop. -

On the pics it looks awesome! I'd say a bit better than a real one. All the wires and pipes under the hood and in the chassis seem correct and take this truck apart from just toys. Openable doors turned out perfect. What did you use for the cab as a basis? 1/25 AMT or 1/24 italery? Vlad -
If you look well the pics in the high resolution you can mention fresh rust spots. Some areas in the frame might be blasted bad but the rear axle housing shows nothing else but poor quality of paint. Pretty sad seeing it on a just done stuff.

This update sounds optimistic. The junk owner said the truck was 1985. So there are chances the hood is long. Today I checked out my trucks, it seems possible to move the radiator assembly about an inch backwards and than the hood hinge mountings. Now I'm planning on a train trip. Can sleep at night and spend an only day for the deal. The rear axles he has are of the same kind as the broken one in Siberian DMM so there's a reason to go anyway. Just too many affairs are being plaited together and not much luck is getting out of. All as usual. Thank you for the exact sizes. By the word there's the difference of 22 mm only, less than whole 25.4

Keith, thank you for sharing this. Your R looks great, the only sorrt on my mind you ran out of the long fuel tanks. They were not so shiny though. Beautiful light green B with black fenders. -
I double it since ran out of likes either. That driver in white Freightliner seems not experienced enough off-roading. Maybe his fault was just a wrong thinking on the truck properties. Sure it was long enough and painted white but I would say Ossum Possum might have better chances competiting with it. Oh, maybe another reason. Green Dash being first on that way made too deep traces in the ground. Neat Detroit pics road scenaries and those wild animal shots are the exsellent shots. Especially the last one. Still wonder why to add gold to planting mix...
