  1. I'm with you on that Hellcat. New wheels make some special look. And if it's just vinil or paint I'd name it as a "cool job".
  2. Good job! Nice to see the progress.
  3. The pinion seals must be the same as CRD92/93 carriers had which were used on R-models and many newer Macks. Try checking Stemco web site. They have online catalog for hub and pinion seals with sizes and discription. From what I have in my copybook you seals should be : Front input Mack 88AX458 Stemco 429-0002 4.5x3.5" Front output 88AX456 429-0008 3.537x2.751 Rear input 88AX457 429-0009 3.996x2.751 If you were saying your truck is B61 I'd say go with the numbers I posted. But you B81SX might have heavier carriers . So better slick under the chassis with a caliper and relate the sizes. Vlad
  4. ...And pictures of your new treasures are very welcome either!
  5. Wow! Something new. Thank you for posting the pic of the rare animal.
  6. I'd paint it black and go with 666
  7. What an excellent purcgase! Freshening up the paint on hubs, battery boxes and the bumper would bring it to about a show look. Congrats!
  8. The problem seems to me official sellers don't sell NOS. They sell OEM and no need to point it out as NOS if the part still keeps its performance. If someone sells NOS it means the package is damaged/lost or the item has injurys or the seller is not an original seller having the part purchased ocassionly. All this doesn't mean any bad itself but in the most cases the seller is much less responsible for the item's quality than an official seller. So in fact you might be getting an aftermarket or used part described by seller as NOS or a really unused part that was damaged by storage or another way to a condition worse than a used part could be in.
  9. I like the Mercedes-Benz And the rest is nice to look at. Thank you for posting.

    WTH!

I once passed through the same experience with a pipe driving Mercedes Benz rollback I had for some while in the past.
  11. I would expect that polisher turning out as a very expensive option. Increadable FJ and after some thinking I got my mind it was a cleanest truck restoration I ever saw.
  12. I like the color (of the H) and the look of the buildings in the background Good luck on the long way!
  13. There were multiple lots of military LMSW heavy wrecker untits supplied to Britishes under Lend-Lease during WW2. Similar ones were used by Canadian corps either. Those all were non-offset cabs but with simple design front fenders. And later series had military pattern open cabs.
  14. Looks excellent
  15. Wow! When did you spot it on the grass? I remember seeing that truck loaded on a trailer only.
  16. Yes, you never know where water will leak tomorrow... Good thing when things turn out good.
  17. Difficult to judge between International and Freightliner. The wind screen style looks like Freightliner to me but the hood is more of IH.
  18. Googled "gout". Sounded way off from being a nice thing. Too hope and wish that disaster will go away soon. At least you should bring your water balance in norm but doctor's advice seems as a thing to start with. As I remember you should not drink alcohol in such cases no matter beer feels like too helping to slick a thrist. After Macungie I made a trip to the South passing Delavare and ending up in Virginia. Found it really hot for a couple of days there. The gauge in the car showed 97-99 F and it was not easy to stay for a while outside. The AC did its job well but I wouldn't be eager to do some work outside in such conditions. The biggest impression was a hard rain of half an hour after which I found a drop for a couple degrees only. Had never found myself in such conditions with water falling all over you and 97 F at the same time.
  19. Wow! Neat boo.. Bee Tom, how are you doing? I found myself too busy after getting home. So not much activity on here yet. Thanks for the hot stuff. The bottle survived the flight and customs Ok. And the taste was quite in order either when checked
  20. I was learned on the same matter that when you passed your enemy on a path you keep him to the left being secured with a shield. Now seems suggestion is ancient Britts used to meet a walker already with a sword.
  21. Watts offers white flaps with multy-color classic Mack logo (very nice of its look) but they aren't rubber, more as hard plastic. OEM white ones also avalible from Mack with black logo of the same pattern at the left and right flap. Those are plastic too. But work fine being put on my R-model.
  22. It's definitely getting into the shape. looks very promising. Wish you enough of power and good weather to end the story up soon.
  23. Have a Great Day! Gentlemen! Also the date is easy to remember.

    Happy 4th

    Happy 4th of July America!
  25. I might be interested in the blue one in the middle of the line if it has double cut outs and in a good shape.
