  1. Tom, Good luck with the new puker. Does it have Internet Explorer 11? If so, GOOD F'in LUCK!!!!!!
  2. The chassis record shows spokes front (42QJA32P14/46QJA31P6) and rear (44QJA32P24/46QJA31P2).
  3. Amen! A phone is for talking, a camera is for taking pictures, and a computer is for email (and BMT).
  4. Yes, it was available starting in 1990 or 1991. Vlad's 1991 has an E7 mechanical. My 1992 MH has a VMAC EM7. Joe, yes the truck is now in Mansfield (per the eBay listing) but was previously closer to Wellsboro, PA. I forgot to mention, I have the build sheet from Mack and it shows the original owner's name and not B&D.
  5. Rob, I am a difficult person to please (surprise surprise). It is just the wifey and me so we buy things as we "need/want" them. Her early Christmas present was a trip to Ireland in August to watch the "Pedo State boys" play. We bought some clothes and books for my mother but she did not fully understand it was Christmas (MOF just last night she asked it if was Easter). So Christmas time is getting to be a "sad" time of year for me. Just give me CA$H (lots of it) and I will buy my own stuff. The MH613 was going to be my belated Christmas present "To me From me". But I have lots of other "stuff" on the "want" list. I hope you and others on BMT received something nice from Santa and had an enjoyable Christmas.
  6. You are correct, it is the same color/specs as B&D. This one was part of an order for B&D. The original owner bought this from B&D and leased back to B&D. B&D was located in Liberty, PA.
  7. Yes as I understand but the listing states "it is being used in their fleet". Lee is not the person I talked with on the phone or emails. Not sure what is going on but it appears "screwed up". One thing I know for sure, the auction price starts at $5000 and has a reserve.
  8. Soak it with PB Blaster for a few days, put tension on it with a ba puller, then rap it a few times with an air chisel. Also some heating and cooling cycles might break it loose. Good luck!
  9. UPDATE: I FINALLY received an email from the "previous" owner (after I just sent him a note this morning). It was sold to a local exporter. DAMN!!!!!!!!!! And the guy NEVER HAD THE RESPECT to let me know. Here I sat waiting and waiting and......
  10. I got word of this MH for sale from a friend. I called the owner the Friday before Christmas and he promised to send pictures. I told him I was interested in buying the MH and we agreed to wait until after Christmas to look at the truck. Long story short, I never received pics and now I see it listed on eBay with a reserve. Asking price WAS $5000. Needless to say I am no longer interested in this MH. Here is the link....good luck to whomever buys it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1988-Mack-MH613-Cabover-Truck-Tractor-/151527399676?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2347bca0fc&item=151527399676&pt=Commercial_Trucks
  11. Rob, I will buy you beer all day long at the Kilt and will send you a pair of top notch ear muffs to deaden the sound. Do you want muffs with built-in radio?
  12. http://www.wattstruckcenter.com/12days.php Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  13. I did not get anything for Christmas, not even a lump of coal.
  14. $1000 is in my price range but TOO far away. It would be a neat truck to own. Rob...you can buy it for me and then drive it back to PA when you attend Macungie 2015.
  15. Watch it Mike, those are fightn' words.
  16. Just a reminder...Gearhead had his pilot's license suspended indefinitely (after the PA incident at Mike's place) so he has no use for plane/runway or helicopter acess. BTW, Yardo...I never saw sprinklers in a machinery shed. Maybe there should be but then one would have to keep it heated to prevent freezing.
  17. Mark, Looks good. Nice job. I do not have the patience to work on a model in addition to other things.
  18. Let me guess...you are using Internet Explorer 11.
  19. Did they use a french poodle instead of a bulldog?
  20. I talked to the guy about the 85 single axle. It was originally a road tractor (figured with the short wheelbase and bed) and has ~750K total miles. New bearings were rolled in at ~450K, new clutch, and rebuilt 5sp (no OD) transmission. Passenger door is rusted but rest of cab is "decent". He is sending me pics. I will forward them if anyone is interested in the single axle.
  21. Many tire shops are not setup to balance Dayton rims. I had a difficult time finding a local shop.
  22. Maybe dandelions will become a cash crop. If so, the PA farm is a diamond in the rough.
  23. Saw these in the latest issue of East Ohio Auto & RV (www.autorv.com). I have no connection to these sellers. 1979 Mack R tandem dump 350 w/2 stick $11,000 1984 Mack R tandem dump 350 8LL needs engine $8,500 1985 Mack R single axle 10' flatbed 300 5sp $6,500 The single axle is of interest to me but I have too many "irons in the fire" and too many items on my "wish list". http//www.autorv.com/searchResults.aspx?cat=Medium And Heavy Duty Trucks&catid=B&type=A&make=MACK&model=R MODEL&maxprice=&minyear=&maxyear=&miles=&zip=&key= Sorry...IE11 will not let me copy/paste the link above so I typed it. If it does not work, go to www.autorv.com and search for Mack R model. Also, 1982 GMC Astro http://www.danstruck.com/inventory/specsheet/?id=6782553 The Rs are located in Delaware, OH and the Astro in Perrysburg, OH
  24. Just this morning I saw a "want a be" with a stove pipe sticking out of the hood (about 2'). First one I ever saw like that on the street. I didn't have my camera so I did not get a pic...."but it did happen".
  25. Some people have too much money and $hit for brains.
