Are your batteries fully charged? If so, does the starter engage with the flywheel? Engine coolant heater? If no coolant heater, place a heat lamp under the oil pan to heat the oil. Place plywood or tarps around the front and sides of the truck to keep the heat under the engine. A couple light bulbs in the engine compartment will help too.

Gee, I had a recent similar issue with a MH613. I must be in the wrong bizness. Maybe I should buy and resell for twice the original price. Hmmmm My dad always said, "buy low sell high" but it seems I "buy high and sell low". Maybe I should have listened to Dad.

I thought I would start a new thread on this item. The CL ad is deleted but the unit is still for sale. The guy who is the contact got pissed at the owner (his wife's uncle). He said he would still send pics (not holding my breath). This is getting interesting and frustrating. Stay tuned.

UPDATE: Seller wants to sell both together. He is sending better pics. I will let you know what happens and start a new thread on the U685T once I get better pics. I am pedaling as fast as I can. Just a thought, has anyone contacted the Mack museum to request a print of the part? Then take the print to a shop. Talk with Don S and see it there are any issues with making repro parts. Also, contact Barry and get his thoughts.

Why is it one needs to "threaten" to get good service? I run into the same thing with SIRIUSXM. I been a subscriber for about 20 years. And each time my subscript comes up for renewal I have to "threaten" to cancel my service. Usually I talk to the "cancellation department" and it is weird, they can renew at a reduced rate. Go figure!
