  1. The huge sand and gravel pit in Dover New Hampshire was sold a few years ago to a New York firm I believe. Green Mack RD's and Granites and Peterbilt tractors. The Dover Sand and gravel Company used to have yellow RD Macks as I remember. They had a beautiful yellow B model Mack water truck. Does any one know what happened to the B model. It was in great shape about 4 years ago.
  2. :Saw my second Mack Titan in about five years on 95 It was a red tri axle pulling a tri axle lowboy. Didn't catch the name for sure. May bee Grasso?
  3. I wonder if the L models were built by Orville. If you look at the L model and H model they look identical around the window area. Were the B models built by Chicago cab or Orville.
  4. The original front end was the best in IMHOP.
  5. We then went over to Pat C's American Paving shop where he and his boys were working on a couple of AB projects before they get back out on the road putting new asphalt down. Patdbossct The asphalt business should be good this year considering all of the frost heave damage. On another note I have been seeing a little more CWPM activity on 95. New KW's t800's (not bad looking). They still can't kill off there 2 old CH's I saw going down 95.(ex two tone green ones from another company I think) Also saw a CWPM black RD i have never seen before. They must be bringing out some old dogs.
  6. Looked on the Marinnelo web site and they have that Mayberry U Model wide cab. That definitely looks like an F model cab (Bud-N model etc,) These cabs were made in house so I guess they could experiment. KS do you know if any more of these were built. Looks like a Mack attempt to trial balloon a wide cab conventional. Very curious.
  7. What is new Matter's mission going to be? I wonder how many B's are still working?
  8. Saw a sharp red CL dump on 95 yesterday. The funny thing about it was that it said Dattco on the door with Dattco mud flaps. Is this the same as Dattco as the bus company. The logo looked the same. Also saw a new axle back Granite dump for Hanes. Good to see they are buying Macks again. They used to have CL's and RD's before buying T800's.
  9. Was the 300 maxadyne as tough as the 237. what were the sales of each.
  10. Did'nt realize there were that many nice Celli macks left. I see an R in the background with a Gold bulldog and some CH's. Every body on this web site chip in 50 dollars and we can save them all.
  11. Remember Navistar shareholders and directors- getting every last nickel and dime for the company is more important than doing the right thing. I guess the battle of the Bulge was really fought in vain.
  12. Love those B models with the horizontal radiator shutters. Body looks to be in decent shape. What are the specs.
  13. Original R hood any day Can an after market original R hood be put on an RD without to much trouble. The RD looks good as a dump or rolloff but awful as a tractor.
  14. It seems as though CVG builds the Mack and IH cabs (not Volvo). and they supply all of the cab interiors (interior trim dashes etc.)
  15. I thought mayflower or there buyout offspring made both Volvo and Mack cabs Maybe IH also I'll bet 10 cents KS knows.
  16. Saw a Ginnetti twin stack superliner the other day on 95. Usually see their W 900's
  17. You could make it an Inter Mack with an after market R or RW hood
  18. KS: For those Mack glider enthusiasts-Get a T-Line glider- add Mack remanufactured pre emissions engines(e-6 350)(E-7 400) -Mack transmission/ rears-on Camelbacks-slap a bulldog on the hood. Now you have more of a Mack truck than the new Volvo/Mack brand. Plus the cab won' rust.
