  1. Could be injector tip; with the viberation & all.
  2. & if you miss a spot you can put it in reverse! Ha!
  3. Thanks to all veterans.
  4. Can’t believe they’ve got away from the big blocks; they got the most gallons per mile!
  5. Tires are not the way to save money, my opinion. I know it’s hard to justify but it’s according to how much driving you’ll do. New cheap tires don’t seem to last long. At least put some good steer tires on.

Been wondering where you’ve been. Hope everything going your way
  7. The man who hired him needs fired also!
  8. I’m sorry no it didn’t; I meant to say when I noticed injector problem. Most folks I was around didn’t notice till hard start. I’m thinking you have another problem cause I know from post you run at low rpm & I think you would have noticed that.
  9. I had a 12 model; no hard start, it just missed around 12 to 1,400 rpm range. I thought for awhile it was the road, didn’t miss bad & pulled good. It got where it would really pull good & then it didn’t. I knew then something wrong.
  10. My condolences; I didn’t know she was ill.
  11. Yea; I’d love to have an old dog but all there parts are getting that way.
  12. I knock the wood blocks out they have on the throw out bearing, put it on shaft & hook the the fork. Slide in and install bolts rotating engine couple of times. If you ever do 1 you want do it any other way. Some applications want let you do it that way.
  13. You stick them in through throw out bearing cover & rotate engine.
  14. Done a few that way; makes it very easy all you have to do is get it in pilot bearing. So much easier. Which I know you know to start each pressure plate bolt & rotate engine a couple of times to make sure it all is aligned right & all before tightening.
  15. Only thing I can comment on is; it’s the easiest way to put clutch in by putting it all on transmission front shaft & putting it in & taking it out; let the jack handle the weight!
  16. 800cfm sure seems to be a bunch for a sb. Idk but seems like too much cam for that tall of gear for that size tire; for pulling trailers & such. Just an opinion; I hope it works out for you.
  17. This is interesting; if you get better mpg out of a carburetor than efi. That would be my first.
