  1. I assume he tore his air lines up; there’s no telling how much more he could of tore up if they would’ve lasted
  2. He did have his hazards on
  3. Never would’ve thought I would hear that Mack rear ends weren't any good anymore. It’s been several people on here say the same thing. Sad days
  4. Unless they just stopped; they’ve been putting gold dogs only on all (so called) all Mack component trucks.
  5. Guess they don’t have Mack rear ends? (no gold dog)

    Mack e7 427

    Vents stopped up
  9. That’s just pitiful. How many miles was on the truck?
  10. Isn’t it REALLY a make shift common rail?
  11. That Detroit might of been cool & fun for awhile; you’ll be glad you went back Mack. I worked on them Detroit’s for about 10yrs back in the 90’s. I don’t see how someone could drive 1 every day.
  12. has this vibration been there since you’ve owned the truck? I’m not doubting you. Has the engine been into before?
  13. Your clutch wear is throwing I big loop in the deal for me. I didn’t go back & read all of it again but a fan clutch will cause a lot of vibration too. Don’t really see that causeing clutch wear like you have though.
  14. If it’s got cork in it; if you put too much rtv the gasket will swim on you. Like said I put very thin amount
  15. Make sure both pieces are as flat as possible; I always use flat file if can; I always wipe rtv down with my finger & make sure you have just enough for contact. Lots of people put big beads that are unnecessary & it bubbles up all around. I would use your gasket too. If it’s out of good material.
  16. Yea I know; just a Chevy man. Saw 1 of those hemi fords in a mustang, think it was a very rare car, high $$$. It was massive.
  17. You got a bb Chevy container too? They getting harder to find now & always pricey?
  18. Might be somebody didn’t clean up good before; you would think it'd be makeing some type of noise with pieces missing.
  19. Is that a fairlane in front of the gmc
  20. Relief valve stuck or regulator valve stuck. I think older models might not had relief valves and would blow filter seals
  21. Had 12 model; 505c, 18sp. 3.98’s, pulled great when injectors were good. They love low rpm. It’s according to area on reared ratio. With the gears I had it was set for 55 to 60mph. It would run way faster but not for fuel mileage.
