  1. Thank you very much guys, I appreciate the help. I hate to waste anyone’s time, it’s just that this is all new to me, and I’m learning as I go.
  2. If it was as simple as a google search, I wouldn’t be here wasting people’s time.
  3. I mean obsolete as in they are no longer produced in the USA... as far as I know there are Indian and Chinese manufacturers that make them, but at much lower quality.
  4. I’ll give them a call. That would be helpful as I live in MA. I’d be surprised if they stock an obsolete tire size though.
  5. Looking for 11r 24" tube type tires.
  6. Looking for any leads on where to find 11r 24" tube type tires. Thanks guys.
  7. Good Afternoon: I’ve been price shopping for a complete wiring harness for my B61. I’ve read about Top o’ Hill in Pittsfield, MA but can’t seem to find any contact information for them. Does anyone have any information or a more middle of the road manufacturer (price wise)? The last one I priced out was in excess of $2,000. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
  8. Great input guys, thanks. I’d like to do duals, but the air tank for the air start is in the way on the driver’s side.
  9. Hello, I'd like to put a single 5" or 6" stack on my truck soon. END673. My question is: would 6" be too large? Do I have enough exhaust flow to prevent the gases from "the doldrum effect" and end up stinking up the cab etc? It would be 84" long. Thanks guys.
  10. This is the deal: ULSD is the only diesel fuel available for purchase in the United States, both on and off-road. In 2007, on-road sulfur content was reduced from 500 ppm to 15 ppm, and off-road followed suit in 2011. By 2014, all exeptions/exceptions (rail road, small refineries) were required to meet ULSD standards.
  11. I had lots of oil in my air lines, and replaced my Tuflo 450 compressor: problem solved. I bought a re-man from Highway & Heavy Parts, as they were one of the only places I could find a Bendix compressor for a three bolt flange compressor for Macks. Priced very well too.
  12. Good Morning, I picked up another B61 yesterday in New Milford, CT, along with 30+ years of NOS parts, spare quad box, tires, etc. My question is: the aux transmission shift lever feels frozen up, and required two arms to muscle it into gear. Is this a common issue with a truck that's been sitting for a while? It's a 1966 B-61SX, that's been re-powered with a 237. Thanks guys!
  13. Good Morning, I noticed a pretty significant fuel leak on my Mack yesterday coming from the throttle control linkage where it meets the injection pump. I can't really tell where the fuel is actually leaking out of on the ball/linkage part. Its an American Bosch Injection Pump on an END 673P. Any thoughts? Please see attached photo. Thanks!
