  1. no wonder animal rights supporters are all over the place making sure its a felony if any animal is caused pain, because we cant look at ourselves and humanity and attempt to fix "us". I think we have this backwards maybe people should get a cat, then if its still alive after a year and in good health then maybe we can allow them to reproduce, if the animal is not still well, spay or neuter the care taker. PS i dont want to see any dogs harmed so i would leave them out!
  2. the maxi torque decal on the visor says to preselect! i have had problems with them by not preselecting maybe i just do it diffrently than others, i preselect just before i move the shift lever from one hole to another. when shifting between direct and over i treat it like a 2sp. rear end, i also clutch or doubble clutch most shifts.
  3. Bob, hey i have a 2 mile long lake just off the west end of the property, that should be enough runway to get a bunch of cherrys headed east!and its on the way to florida, sounds like a win win!! im still waiting for the BMT members to send the good will payment to help cover the cost of picking and transporting these "free cherrys" once i receive the payments I will contact you Bob...... ah i gotta go check the mail box I'm sure the first of the payments will be waiting there for me!
  4. Green Dash ..... was that a typo? "toil" ? ......or did you meen endless OIL!!!!!!!!
  5. Well Kens truck would be about the right size to haul the load, and he has been wanting to come out to Idaho! well whats a few more hours of driving once your in Idaho!!!!
  6. i didnt see any thing about dust control or hearing loss!
  7. ain't MIDLAND and BEAVER kinda the same place? or is that only in winnfall?
  8. Yardo hey i think your on to something! that thought never crossed my peanut brain, wish you would have brought that up sooner, Slpwklr was in the state last weekend and i could have sent a ton or two with him. I finished picking my other cherrys today !!!! only had two small thunder storms disrupt our morning, got just wet enough to need to dry the trees using the fan on the speed sprayer, glad that it waited till my last day and didnt hit last week.
  9. i wouldnt say shock load .... but extreme presure on the ring gear yes! this condition would be worsened if the front and rear drive tires are mismatched as far as circumfrance is concerned, because the tires would be traveling at diffrent speeds, but coupled by a common shaft
  10. Brocky: no those arn't mine! mine would say domex marketing or monson fruit.but are most likely from the same valley (the okanogan) as mine are grown in. Hatcity: yep them candied things are just that! if you seen the national news the fruit packing warehouse fire with the exploding propane and ammonia tanks is co-ownen with the place that packs my fruit in seleah, so i dont know whats going to happen there yet, they should be packing cherrys but the dispatcher said today that my fruit was going to seleah because of the fire, so i still dont know if washington cherry growers was damaged or not ( its next door to blue bird)the warehouse that is burning the fire that is belived to have stated was a brush fire that is over 3000 acres and burned at least 28 homes also if you want to make your own maraschino cherrys i have between 7-10 tons of canidates that you can experment on...........u-pick! for any one else that wants info search [sleepy hollow fire] sorry i dont know how to do the linky thing!
  11. That dog driver wouldnt be able to breed a bitch for quite some time if that was my pooch!
  12. sweet cherrys, if you go to the store and grab some "Washington cherrys" you may get some of mine! i grow Rainers, tietons, skeenas, and lapins and if you want some rainers i will let you pick all you want! between the 1.9 inches of rain 3 weeks ago and several diffrent wind storms i cant pick them for market ( too much cullage) so i have about 7 tons that will rot on the stem, its too bad i cant because they have great size, firmness and color. the sad part is they look better than what you see in the store, as far as marks and bruses!
  13. I,m thinking you broke a spring on the governor, but check the lift pump before removing the whole injection pump you may have some trash in the check valves. you could also try the buffer spring adjustment, back out the buffer set screw, adjust idle to within 50 rpm of spec then thread in buffer set screw until idle speed is reached and give it a try.
  14. As I wrote yesterdays story we had a cell come threw just to the north of us between the u.s. and b.c. with about 3 hours worth of sky watching! lots of cloud to ground strikes, the hellicopter was flying water drops this afternoon. The bulk of these strikes were out of our district, and are being delt with. more weather predicted for tonight!
  15. well latest forecast calls for "abundent dry lightning" tomorrow afternoon thru monday humidity is arround 13% and gusty winds forecast as well, its 9.15 pm here now and still 98f down from 106f dew point is at 44f and our overnight low is forecast in the mid 70's I'M GETTING F---ING NERVOUS! oh and the 10 day forecast dont show a day below 95f.
  16. Well 2015 looks about the same as last year except about 3 weeks earler! under extreme fire weather watch for the next few days, 100+ daytime highs and low 70's for overnight temps, and dry lightning forecasted for sun. & mon. We're picking cherrys now and its been 95F by lunch time, so were starting at 4:30 am to beat the heat ( cherrys divorce their stems easely when the fruit temp gets above 80f) already had our first brush fire last week started by a careless smoker, about 1.5 acre on a hillside just up the road from me. The state wasted no time sending resources our way, i was the first on scene about 1/4 acre at that time i arrived the next thing i knew, i had a rotor and several hand crews on scene (was glad to see the rotor) the hand crew watching me work not so much! I guess after the state got caught not promptly fighting fire last year and they want to change their public image. had 6 forest circus crews and about the same from the D.N.R. I was glad to see them hand trail it, after we got it knocked down, the sumack shrubs and a chain saw dont mix well and i didnt have the temper at that time to deal with seeing how many times an hour i could put a saw chain back on! Sorry to ramble, but I'm afraid we will be in the national news again! the govoner just anounced a state wide burn ban and he is training up the national guard for more firefighters.
  17. huh.... most shock loaded macks ive seen have either broken axle shafts, or trans. main shaft falures. metal fillings and burs sounds like improper assembly and or preload or under/over tempered parts you might have a rockell hardness test done on the failed parts to see if they are in spec. with factory specs. if failed parts are not adequate then i say take em to court
  18. if its a mechanical 400 just buy it ! the only problem we ever had was the pump shop got the advance wrong and we smoked a overhaul after fixing that issue the truck was as bullet proof as a e-6 350 and just a little stronger, that superliner it was in was paving and hauling 101,000 lbs. ran great!
  19. all I can think of right now is Jeff Dunham and Peanut, and peanut saying " that loooooks goooood" and then Walter saying " Dumb Ass".................maybe I need to get more sleep!!!!!
  20. thats ok i'll settle for the picture of the mud! it sounds like i wont be seeing any mud for a while, we're susposed to be in trippile digits by later in the week and stay there for a while....our mud is going to turn to bricks
  21. i wish our wally mart was 60 miles away! at 35 miles the wife thinks thats a ok drive. at 60 she would rethink going there 2 times a week
  22. Hey Ron enjoy YOUR day! Sorry they didnt have any baby macks to put on the screen!
