  1. DON'T EVEN GO THERE! Big Bucks ! dont forget you have to Plumb the oil cooler as well as all the wiring and programing issues your going to have! NOT a Smart move! Its likly doable But AT WHAT COST!

You can check your codes with the cruise control switch's, but you must have a stored code (ie, CEL stays on) You do itby having key on, cruise power switch off, and hold RESUME/ACCEL switch on until CEL light goes out. The light will start flashing the codes. It'll be a two digit #, with a slight pause between seperate codes.
  4. Problem is there are several places and it aint cheap to replace! Remove the gasket from the pan level sensor plug is one fix! However, it can come from the injector harness, it can come from any of the oil pressure sensors monitoring the engine! One fix would be a 2 piece harness adding yet more places for moisture into the harness. Catch 22! A connector at the valve cover would be nice but good luck with that! They aint doin that anytime soon! They are to busy bandaiding the fuel system!

At least the At least the mans point of view is honest and factual and backed up by facts for the most part the jury is out on the new common rail how ever from what i've seen of it ,they have really cured nothing, with out getting rid of any contact with cam the injector will still shake and cause sealing issues! just another patch job!
  6. The CL 350 was built Way heavier than the hayes the frame was huge comparatively We sold the mjority of those trucks here on vancouver Island! THE Best of the fat trucks in my opinion! Comparing them to the Hayes Pacific and KW . Built MACK tough!

My self I have not to much bad to say about the easy pedal other than they would have been better off leaving the original adjusting platform (TAB and bolt lock ) setup in place. the winder affair is mediocre at best! The tab and bolt were just fine and were quite predictable and much easier to deal with if the adjuster did get tight! They went backwards when this changed the adjuster and further back with solo in certain applications

  11. As stated buy a easy pedal spec ed beyond the torque rating of the engine and your good to go!

  14. True enough! How ever will they listen? But can't hurt to try I guess! Having said that my experience with the design is the same as that of 1965 in just about every case they work well enough over the road vocational not so much ! only ever seen one or two reach life expectancy! 1/2 way down the slot is normally when they cease to work ! My experience! Bitch at the eaton Rep and he shrugs we've been working on that! That was 10 years ago ( there abouts) nothing has changed it still happens lots! However we have had the odd easy pedal freeze up as of late maybe its a sign of the times !
  15. No point in talking to them simply put in an easy pedal and move on never had good luck with them
  16. Copy the reverse plumbing its the same! think of the diverting valve as an air operated on off switch!

  19. Is the stick moving If it is poping out range the shift fork is loose or the range pack is worn or the yoke bolt could be loose!
  20. Try the ecu we had this happen to a customer truck!

  22. Nope still metal! What you likely got is a teflon seal no wiper good seal but hard to install
