  1. Gas prices have fallen but nothing else has According to these statistics http://data.bls.gov/pdq/SurveyOutputServlet]http://data.bls.gov/pdq/SurveyOutputServlet https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/LeafHandler.ashx?n=PET&s=EMD_EPD2D_PTE_NUS_DPG&f=W Everybody raises prices to cover the cost of transport and energy but never lower it also why is a motor oil not gone down??? Jan 2003 Diesel 1.50 gal Gas 1.47 unleaded Bread 1.04 Chicken 1.00 per pound Milk 2.68 gal
  2. Looks to live in a nice dog house, sure looks to be in good shape from the crappy CL pictures
  3. I spent the day at the painters and just went through the old lights and pitched the trash. The foam on the old ones looked to be about the same thing just all dried up. I have no idea how long the cab lights were mounted but I am sure at least 20 years by the looks of the chrome
  4. Post some pictures of Good stuff and then the rough spots so people can see how decent it is. You should also put a tarp over the cab.
  5. I finally looked the lights over. They seem to be the same quality as the Mack and the other ones I bought from ebay. They are chromed plastic, all seem to have a curve to them but none seem to have the same as the roof. None have made in china and in fact they all have the similar markings only on the lense. Over all I would say they were made buy the same people. Mack most expensive at about $100 per light Ebay $100 for five all same length SLC around $65 for 1 short and 4 long Pictures of the light I bought from Mack and will be returning
  6. because all of the commodity traders(speculators) are not making money hand over fist off the fears of global unrest any more does not mean that economy is going to collapse the way chicken little said the sky is falling. The oil market was over inflated bubble and the bubble burst. Give it a few little bit and the oil company's that holding there breath for a rebound in oil prices will start going back to work and instead of ExxonMobil and other oil company's making huge off the chart profits raping the consumer, things will get back to normal and the producers will start manipulating the supply and demand to drive the prices back up some. The consumers will also start spending money that they now have from the lower gas prices and that should spur the manufacturing sector because Chinas economy is down because the Chinese labor costs have finally started hitting the manufacturing sector and US company's are now bringing jobs back due to the higher labor costs and transportation margins are getting close. The thing that I am concerned about is the mega company's are starting to buy up competitors and forming monopolies, than there comes a point of to big to fail that will devastate the economy. Beer to oil to insurance to medicine http://www.thefiscaltimes.com/Columns/2015/11/13/Mega-Danger-Mega-Deals-Monopolies-Are-Crushing-US-Workers-and-Consumers
  7. Looks like owning a bunch of them trailers would have been a smart investment. Buy for $30K in 1970 Deprecate for 5 years on taxes Run on the roads for 40 years making $1000s per year When it barely will pass certification paint it and sell for $90K That is at least a million dollar trailer and a smart investment
  8. in one of the bulldog mags I scanned and uploaded their is an article about them. The picture shows it on a barge or something. When I saw the picture in the bulldog I thought to myself that is the granddaddy of the U and DM
  9. You list two tragic incidences but where is the incidences where a gun saved someone? So because the father raised and pointed a gun at a law enforcement officer and he shot the suspect (not a law abiding citizen now since he pointed a rifle at a peace officer) instead of taking the eviction notice and his daughter was killed it is because he owned a gun???? It could have easily been a butcher knife, he still would have gotten shot. The father is responsible for what happened not the law enforcement officer or the rifle, the father made the choice not to comply which got his daughter killed. The the son would not have tried to sneak back into the house he would not have gotten shot by the father. The father dropped the son at the bus stop and when he left the boy decided to skip school and sneak back to the house. It is a sad that something like that happened but had the boy not broken into his own house the dad would not have thought it was an intruder. It was not the guns fault or the Dad, the dad was on the phone with the Police but as with most crimes police investigate they rarely catch anyone in the act of Breaking and Entering or Robbery. What if it was not his son but a cracked out intruder that had a gun, the Dad was on the phone with police but that would not have stopped the cracked out intruder from shooting the dad. Here are a couple all I did was google gun saves family- http://kxan.com/2016/01/12/intruder-shot-during-dripping-springs-home-invasion/ http://www.ammoland.com/2016/01/255923/ https://www.ecr.co.za/news-sport/news/listen-brave-durban-teen-saves-family-intruders/ http://www.actionnewsjax.com/news/news/local/columbia-county-man-shoots-armed-home-intruder/npzxd/ http://www.fox13news.com/news/local-news/72451674-story http://www.baynews9.com/content/news/baynews9/news/article.html/content/news/articles/bn9/2016/1/2/pcso_intruder_shot_a.html I can go on but I think you get the point
  10. with everything I see my top dollar would be $4000 with all the spare parts and me looking it over good for rust. Looks like it needs tires they are dry rotted but it does have a headliner so that is a bonus and spring brakes
  11. Not far from my place about 120 miles if someone buys it can keep it at my place til you pick it up
  12. "It's just unacceptable," said Democratic Rep. Luis Gutierrez of Illinois. "I've been 99.9 percent with this president of the United States but in this particular case, when his administration sows the seeds of terror throughout the [illegal] immigrant community of the United States and millions of people are affected, that's what I'm going to concern myself with." Prime example why the Democrats don't want voter ID. Shouldn't he be concerned about actual US Citizens. South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley: individuals [illegal immigrants] willing to work hard and follow the law shouldn't feel unwelcome. Prime Example why Americans are supporting Trump and not the status quo RHINOS
  13. Or a realistic seller that would rather have somebody buy it than scrap it. $800 is about twice what scrap is here in middle USA.
  14. Unfortunately that is not General Austin, that is General David M. "Rod" Rodriguez another POTUS "Yes" Man., that is standing behind him. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_M._Rodriguez
  15. can you use a sleeve or speedy sleeve? or wear sleeve http://www.timken.com/en-us/products/seals/industrial/products/Pages/wearsleeves.aspx
  16. Not a surprise to the General because the fact is just like the Toyotas were supplied by the US government to the Al Nusra Front as ‘non-lethal aid’ then given to ISIS, the same with the weapons and other military vehicles. Also the POTUS gun control didn't stop the Philadelphia "terorist" from trying to assassinate a Police officer with a stolen "police issued" firearm yesterday, which illustrates the point that law abiding citizens are the ones losing their 2nd Amendment Rights not the bad guy.
  17. The funny thing is look at the general in the back ground when he said ISIL he did not flinch, when was the last time someone made a mistake and someone from behind did not make a face, point being he already knew so was it really a gaff?
  18. You need to read your liberal rag, even they say it was under the the current regime. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/jun/03/us-isis-syria-iraq Had POTUS pushed for a SOFA agreement in Iraq we would not have the problem with ISIS as it is today. http://usherald.com/breaking-declassified-docs-show-that-obama-admin-created-isis-in-2012-to-use-as-a-tool/ http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=162_1432538588 In this Pentagon Speech he says we are training ISIS
  19. Yes and if the motor is apart and non running I would try and get it for less. You have rust to contend with, window open so probably floor is rotted, door is rotted, and so on. Can you save it sure, do you want to buy it for 5k and put at least 10k in the motor and body work? Or would you rather pay $1500 and then 10K? Depending on where it is you said it could cost you at least 2k for transport so that adds on Up to you if you think it is worth it.
