Popular Post jake Posted October 23, 2014 Popular Post Share Posted October 23, 2014 Winter is coming soon to the north woods and it's time to get the vehicles in the shed. This year I have one more Mack that I didn't have last year and as I tried to squeeze all the room I could get, I could see it wasn't going to go. My 1940 Packard had been neglected for too long and I thought maybe it was time to let it go. I had saved it from the junkyard back in 1982 and had done all except new interior. I had a lot of fun with it while I had it but I'm glad I don't know how many hours I have in it. I put it on Craigslist on Friday night and the buyer called Saturday noon. A trailer load of parts went with it so the storage room gain was substantial. Now the Packard is gone and the trucks are put away. Now it can snow. I'm guilty of painting the engine the wrong color but I didn't do the interior. I don't know why anyone would change the interior color of a B Model. Does anyone know what happened to any of these trucks? I was trying to find Jake's LTL and unfortunately I discovered that he most likely sadly passed away a few years ago. My dad fell in love with the LTL after trying to find ideas of what he wanted his truck to be in the future, especially since it seemed to match the looks of his dad's old L model firetruck that the two of us have been working on for the past few years. I was hoping that I'd be able to find it on my own but it turns out that plan was more wishful thinking... Any help is much appreciated!
