I love that LTL. It is good to see an original one. A lot of LTL,s you see at shows now are Peterbilts in disguise. I hope that never happens to that one!

I had my LTL at the ATHS show in Rochester, Mn when a gentelman came over to look it over. He told me that he drove the last new LT off the lot at the Denver,Co Mack dealer in 1957. He said his boss needed a truck bad and the salesman gave him a great deal because they were pushing sales of the B Model.

Here is the 1964 C Model that I used to Drive. It was only 4 years old then. It had a 711 with triplex.

Al, If you ever do deceide to replace it with the later dry type, I have an extra one. It's yours if you want it. I saved it to put on the LTL but think it may be a little small for the Cummins. Jake

Al, I did the "parallel park maneuver" and no I didn't get it on the first try. Jake

Winter is coming soon to the north woods and it's time to get the vehicles in the shed. This year I have one more Mack that I didn't have last year and as I tried to squeeze all the room I could get, I could see it wasn't going to go. My 1940 Packard had been neglected for too long and I thought maybe it was time to let it go. I had saved it from the junkyard back in 1982 and had done all except new interior. I had a lot of fun with it while I had it but I'm glad I don't know how many hours I have in it. I put it on Craigslist on Friday night and the buyer called Saturday noon. A trailer load of parts went with it so the storage room gain was substantial. Now the Packard is gone and the trucks are put away. Now it can snow. Jake
