  1. Nice pictures PeterMack. Glad to see someone looked at my ol B Model! Thanks. Jake
  2. Mike, I was looking over Dick Lein's B73 at the Baraboo show yesterday and remember noticing how wide the frame rails were right behind the cab. Think they may be like yours too.
  3. That LT is super. What a survivor. You have the ultimate Mack Museum Mike! Jake
  4. Mike, Is that an LT in the background? Jake
  5. I have Hagerty.Have had them for many years. I have three antique cars and my two old Macks with them. Last year when I went to add my 1953 LTL they said they would only accept it if I would repaint it and increase the value. I called them back and said that the LTL was in great original condition and it was going to stay that way and if I had to go elsewere to insure that truck, then I would switch them all. They did reconsider and agreed to accept the LTL. Jake
  6. Saterday, July 23 is the ATHS Hiawathaland Chapter Truck Show at Nuss Truck & Equipment at Rochester, Mn. They are the Mack dealer at Rochester. Should be a good time.
  7. Very neet picture. thanks for posting it. I wonder if it was a chain. Seems like in the '50s and '60s there was a Truck'otel at Sring Green, Wi. on old Hwy 14.
  8. I have injectors out of a 711 in my 673.
  9. I,m going to South Bend. I preregistered back in January. We will be driving the B 61 down from Wisconsin. I,ve been thinking about that $4.00 fuel too. Soon all we will be able to attend are the local shows.
  10. leversole, I have had no trouble with my rig and have pulled it with my B Model for three years. It is an older trailer and is very well built. The guy we bought it from used to pull it all over with a newer Peterbilt. I put an electric brake controler in the B Model, changed the trailer socket to match the tractor, and I run 80 PSI in the steer tires and 60 PSI in the drive tires. It creates a lot of intrest wherever I go.We pulled it down to Huntsville, Al. in '09 and have been all over Minnesota and Wisconsin with it. Jake
  11. Gus, Good to see your B Model again! I seen it at the Rogers show. I had the blue B model from Wisconsin. Jake
  12. I have one for parts if you decide to build one up. It has the heads on it and the internal parts in it. It ran good in my B model but the block has an internal crack.I hate to see it go for junk if someone could use it. I'm in Wisconsin.
  13. OOPS, That other picture just kinda came along with it.
  14. If I did it right, here is a picture of my '53 LTL.
  15. A couple years ago I went to Manders in Lakeville, Mn for parts for my B Model and they said we ain't got em but here is where you can get em and they gave me Watts' phone number. They were right and I had the parts in a couple days.
  16. This is truely a sad day for any one who loves freedom. If the rotten bastards can do this none of our freedom is safe. I am so disgusted that I can't hardly think about it.The achiever in this country gets screwed again and the freeloader gets favors. All I can say is vote the bastards out. Jake
  17. The company that I drove for back in the '60's had quite a few in the fleet and they were usually the result of a wreck. We still drove the old Bs and Cs if they were only rusty but they sure made a nice tractor after a wreck. It would feel like a brand new truck.
  18. has not set their status

  19. Thanks otherdog, Iknew I seen it somewhere before but couldn't find it. Jakebrake
