  1. Al, does that B81/BCR still survive then? That radiator shell looks like an LT or was that fabricated too. Jake
  2. Looking good Mike! I'll have to see if I can get a copy for my collection. Jake
  3. Brian, Did you see the two gasoline tanker trucks from Tomah? I know they are working trucks but don't know how they keep them looking like that. Jake
  4. Brian, Thanks for posting the pictures. I was looking for you. Just had a suspicion you might be there. This was the first year that I didn't bring the B 61 and I don't think there was any there. I noticed more people look at the B61 than the BCR. By looking at your truck pull pictures, we were not far from you in the stands. I'm glad Dennis had his H67. We need more older ones to off set some of that chrome. Jake

    Mike Parkhurst

Thanks for posting that. I had never read that before. He gave me a CD that he had produced explaining much of the happenings concerning the shutdowns. A lot of information there. He even autographed it for me.Jake
  6. I just read on another site that Mike Parkhurst passed away this last week. He was the founder and editor of Overdrive Magazine. I spent many hours in my younger years reading Overdrive. If there was a Playboy and an Overdrive laying on the table I would probably look through both but I would read the Overdrive. I got to meet Mr. Parkhurst this past spring and enjoyed visiting with him for over an hour. I still have my over 30 year collection of Overdrives. Jake
  7. Hay Al, even Brian ,Petermack, got in on your first one. Jake
  8. Ken, That's me, jakebrake, with the red BCR next to Al. On the other side of me is Ron, b61mack. Vic is between b61mack and Superdog but I don't know what he goes by. He sure had a nice B Model though. Jake
  9. Al, This one had sticks that were bent ahead under the floor to miss the floor reinforcement and to match up with the hole in the floor. It was kind of a bad deal because the sticks would twist and it was hard to find the gears. I changed the floor and put in straight sticks. I got some bent ones if you need them.
  10. Also Maddog I forgot to mention that the B Model was originally a mixer an still has the housing for the pto between the engine and transmission which moves the tranny back a few more inches.
  11. This is a BCR kit and is an R Model cab sitting on a B Model chassis. The cab seems to set more forward than on an R Model. The transmission is a TRQ7220.
  12. I have a B Model cab for sale. It has a little rust out and a little bondo. Asking $750 or make me an offer. 715-821-2367
  13. Thank you Superdog for sharing your pictures. What a great show. Four LT's ain't bad. Glad I got to meet you and jakebrake86. Got to meet a few other folks for the first time too. BTW what's wrong with your front yard? Jake
  14. Here's one more. My friend Billy Hill's 220 Cummins powered B Model.
  15. It's great to find a truck in truly such great condition. That interior looks new. Glad it's found a good home.
  16. Here's another one Mike. It sets in Eau Claire, Wi. Missing the engine too. Jake
