Buried one and the dog I have now isn't long for this world. We got us a bluhealer jack russell cross Which I was totally against getting at the time But after 2 years wouldn't be with out! Don't wait to long! Criters bring can person joy where there is none! The only thing worse than my dog's passing would be for me to pass before him. I can't imagine how to make sure he would be cared for. My 2 dogs were over 1 year old when I got them. I think this time I would look for an older dog that needs a good home, and can be cared for in its older years. Only "puppy" I had was when I was growing up.
