Popular Post Yoos Brothers Construction
My Brother and I have got alot done on his R700 since he bought it over the winter. We took the 285 out and installed one of the other 866 V8s we we had so it is back to factory specs, and I'm glad to report that after sitting fo almost 20 years the old V8 roared to life like it was yesterday . Also My Brother took out the single axle that someone never fiished installing and put the original tandems back in. Once he gets the drive shaft shortened for it and a few more tires the old girl will be mobile. Enjoy! Thanks, Josh

Popular Post Superdog
You guys must have strong backs,I used to,but too many years in a F model.Reminds me of a story I used to tell.Years ago I went to Gilley's in Texas. After watching several "cowboys" get bucked off the mechanical bull,I decided to give it a try.I jumped up in the saddle, and they started winding it up,I just sat there, took a can of Skoal out of my pocket and took a dip,Asked someone to throw me a can of beer, popped it open and drank it,by then they had it cranked as hard as it would go and I was still in the saddle. After they shut it down and I climbed off,Mickey Gilley came up to me and said "that beats anything I ever seen, nobody's ever hung on that long, let alone drink a beer and take a dip of snuff like nothing was going on,you must be a pro bull rider."I said " heck, that ain't nothing, try driving a F model Mack with a 144" wheelbase and Camelback suspension across Highway 78 in Iowa"

My brother did find out shortly after getting this truck that someone converted the old style cab over to air ride so it might help just a touch. We're both still young and stupid . h67st
The original Gilley's closed down, then had a fire, then was demolished to build a school. They opened a new Gilley's elsewhere with some of the original memorabilia.

JTFormula
Wow you guys are doing that thing justice. Looks proper now. There's a Gilleys in Vegas at Treasure Island casino. Not sure if they have some of the stuff from the original one in there but the place was always mobbed when we would pass by it.
