  1. Yaworski B87 could be the twin to mine,it even has the big square radiator top tank.Which museum are these trucks in?Would like to visit.
  2. I know he also have a couple of b61's as water trucks. He just stated a big dirt job at the ABE airport and is using his 50 year old Euclid belly dumps.
  3. I have seen both of them at that yard. The yard is an old asphalt plant.
  4. Tell Herbie I'll come down and show you some pointers and running a lowboy.Nothing hard about it,it just like anything.Just got to make sure you have enough chains and binders. It's not like it was back in the good old days,i remember taking D9's with blade and rippers intact and taking them out to Maryland with no chains and binders at all, just put a 12x12 block behind the track.
  5. Great pic, wasn't able to make this year. The good thing is I was able to get some work done on the b87.
  6. Does the yard go by the name of A&A salvage .
  7. I can remember those trucks. We did the site work for the Hunt Valley Mall back in 1979-80.We were based out of philly.
  8. Motorwood,I'll be out in Fredrick in 2 weeks would like to go by that junkyard and see if the B's are still there. Thanks Mike Durkin
  9. I will be calling the museum next week,to see what they can get me.I will ask for both the B61's and the B80's series.
  10. Has anyone ever tried to have the floor panals for the b model remade. It doesn't appear that they would be all that tough to make.I'm sure someone on this site would have the skill to do something like this.I would be interested in the panals for my B87 the only difference on the B80's is the step down they have.
  11. Enjoy your day,it only comes around once a year.
  12. That the only way to do it.Did that with mine .Keep the photos coming your off on the right foot.Good luck.
  13. Wobbling, what size screws hold the gauge panel to the dash, seems I have misplace mine? Thanks.Mike Durkin
  14. My main trans is aTR1310 with a 3 speed aux. trans.
  15. My B87 has a 5 speed with an aux.trans and 9.10 ratio and I top at at 72.Now my mpg was around 4-5 empty and about 2-3 loaded.
  16. Randy,I am Mike Durkin.Did you live on the line right above Chuck's.If so I rear ended your mother one rainy night when she was coming out of your driveway.
  17. Randy,I am going to test you and see if you have been hanging out at the Tilted Kilt to much.I grow up in Huntington Valley as well. Was only across the cornfield from the Marcucci's.The Flannigan's were up the hill from you,Tinari's greenhouse was across the street. What else do I remember about HV? Officer Hunter of the Lower Moreland PD.,Chuck Hale Gulf station,Ferreri's station across the street. Here's one from the past Liebold Ford. Now do you know who I am,we talked at the Mackfest. I am sorry to hear about your sister.
  18. Couple of questions, first 90wt oil for the steering box,15-40 for power steering ?
  19. I know it has been almost 2 years since I have posted anything about the rebuild of myB87 tractor, but me and my wife have been dealing with our daughter that has had an addiction problem for the past 14 years. It is not something I would wish on even my worst enemy. We have tried just about every rehab that we could find, but until they want the help no amount of money or your time will help. She has finally woke up to the fact of that continuing down the path she was on was the path to death. She has been clean now for over 8 months and it feels like a lifetime. Now on till the B87,I had her running in the last few weeks for the first time in 3 years it sounded great.I want to drive it out of the shop and will get some pictures of it and post them here. The paint job I put on her I'm not all that thrilled with.Going to get all the mechanical work button up then will most likely repaint her with a single coat and then clear coat it.
  20. I had some trucks made up with our logo from A Smith of England.
  21. Yes, you can run 2 12 volts instead of 4 6volts.One thing you should know your truck may start on 24volts and run on 12volts.You should look under the passenger seat and see if there is a spw this will tell you if it start on 24 and runs on 12.Good Luck.
  22. Again where is this truck located. The post on Craigslist has expired. Would like to the owner.
  23. Well it came out the top pretty good,it did help that I had some help.I did have the driver seat out and the driver door off also.
  24. Thanks j hancock,I will be looking for a helper,I was going to use 90wt oil but I like the grease as a solution.
