  1. I do have some pic but can't scan them into the tablet.
  2. Tim the 657's weighed in at 135000 lbs. With the 4 axle DM800 and the 10' wide 4 axle lowboy we were right close to 200,000 lbs.
  3. Tim,we had a 5110 Cat excavator. It took a 50 ton crane to take apart and one to put back together. It took us 6 lowboys to make the move.I have some nice pic you all would like but I can't figure out how to put them on my tablet then post them here. Will have my son work on it.
  4. We had a fleet of 20 of the ts24's.We also ran Cat 657's and some 631's.The reason we always went with the ts24 was the price and the fact that they were simple to work on compared to Cats. Will have to dig out some pic of them.We would drive them around like they were kiddie cars.Once penndot crack down we used our 10' wide lowboy.
  5. My b87 has that big top tank.It has a Cummins in it.
  6. I think the state of New Jersey has a law that make it illegal to back your car out of your driveway onto a state road.
  7. I thought it was the real deal, simply awesome.
  8. I always like the looks of the superliners, yours is really a nice looking dog.
  9. I am only in the planning stage, but have been given it a lot of thought to do a B81 pickup conversion. It would go along well with my full size B87.The question I have for all of you is I would like to put smaller wheels and tires on it,what does it take to do this?
  10. Cut their balls off,and let everyone within 50 miles know this is what happens when you destroy someone else's property. That is part of the reason why this country is like it is,NO DETERAMITE TO CRIME.
  11. Did his shop backup to 95 up in newtown.I used to see the b87 sitting there, and I saw the place after thee fire.Sorry to hear about your brother troubles.
  12. All I can say is ASSHOLE.
  13. A company around here had a DM model with an Allison in it.
  14. I was out to Karaspell Mt., about 5 years ago would love to go back.Drug home a 1956 Ford F600.
  15. Nice photos, miss the show this year.Had work and I got to do some work on the b87 so it wasn't all that bad.
  16. Your truck looks great, who did the fine job?May want them to do the B87 for me.
  17. That's the way I feel, why have it to keep stored up in your garage and every once in awhile bring your friends over and say look what I have. You can be damm sure of it if I own it it will be out and about.Took the 79 r model out to Sam's Club and did some food shopping for the wife.
  18. Talked with George Sprowl just yesterday great person with all the knowledge and willing to share it with others. If anyone is looking for one of his trucks he has one in his yard that he is willing to let go.We talked about making it into a b87 front to go along with b87 I m redoing.Would love to have him do it but have to get the full size truck done first.IWe talked about just repowering an old b and up eating the power train.Like I said he's a super nice guy to talk with.
  19. The more I think about it,the more I'm leaning to repower a bmodel and making the bed for it.Or take the easy way out and buy one that is already done if one ever comes up for sale.
  20. Gray hair,I think that one with the Mack spokes is the way to go.If I do get around to doing one I think I will use short wheel base single axle tractor and go from there.Would like to use the drive line from the school bus or Cummins out of a dodge. That way the a/c will be already there.Hope there will be one at Macungie show.
  21. Anywhere near pa would like to see it?
  22. I have thought about either doing one or have George Sprowl make one up.I spoke with him a few years ago out at the Gerhart show.If I remember right he said he uses a rolling frame from a f350 and then cuts the cab down to fit.I would my truck to be able to maintain highway speeds and have thought about using the drivetrain out of a newer school bus. So my question to all of you is does anyone have a contact number for George.Second question is what do you think about using the rolling frame from a school bus? Thanks for any thoughts.
  23. I brought a 1956 Ford F600 from the same town, was really surprise with how well the cab held up in that cold weather it had hardly any rust.Looks like the Mack has held up well also.
  24. Looks like you are having way to much fun.Wish I was having that much fun.Keep it up.
  25. Great looking truck, keep up the fine job.
