  1. I am doing it wire by wire.Much cheaper.
  2. It appears that all the access. run through the light switch.
  3. I am in the stage of rewiring the B87,and i have a question.Does all the power run through the headlight switch.Looking at the wiring diagram that Barry has posted here it looks like everything is tired into the light switch. If i was to post a pic of my old wiring diagram you would all think that you were looking at a box of spaghetti dumped out on the floor.I have more wires that don't go to anywheres, then wires that do something. Thanks in advance for any help.
  4. When i was young and single hunting season was a year round thing.
  5. I got a quote on buying leasing 25 of the Cat trucks.Myself and my 2 brothers were bidding on a contract for one of the big oil companies in the natural gas here in Pa.I priced Cat,Mack,Petes.Cat and Mack were the better priced trucks. The problem we ran into was the contract was only going to be good for a year.Mack didn't want to do a year lease.Cleveland Bros, the Cat dealer we had dealt with in the past and they went to bat for us to Cat.They would of given us the one year lease if we got the contract which we didn't so the deal is dead.
  6. Congrats, like said the fun starts now. That is all the paperwork that will be needed every time you get pulled into a weigh station.Pretty soon you will have to log in the last time you farted.
  7. The experiment has failed,Obama.
  8. I love to see a Mack under a lowboy.
  9. farmer52,friend of mine still has his JD 110 that he brought new back in i think in 66.
  10. philatruck,i'msure i asked you this before but who do yo work for?And yes Buckley is using our old yard as a staging area for that job.
  11. Thanks,i like to take it out for some runs. Was coming back from work.I'm running some machines for Buckley,on north Delaware Ave.When I get done with my b87 I'ld like to make a pickup from a single axle b model tractor.
  12. I will have to think of who I'ld use.My next project,I want to build a pickup truck using a single axle b model tractor.I am thinking of swapping out the motor and replacing it with a small cummins. Then I will build the bed.
  13. Who are you going to paint the truck?I like the battery box, they did a nice job.
  14. Made a mistake,3rd sentence should have ended, like we just attended.
  15. I was thinking about the post I made about the great show and what a super day weather wise it was.I have been to 100's of car shows, tractor shows, and truck shows over the years, and I have traveled all over this country to attend these shows. There is one thing that they all have in common, that being all the volunteers it take to put a show like the one we just did.You didn't have to look very far and you would see someone from the Mack Museum. So not to be long winded here I would like to thank Doug and all the other people that help put on the show.It was truely the best show I have attended,so again THANK YOU.Looking forward to next year.
  16. Great pictures,thanks for sharing.
  17. All I can say is that "THE EXPERIMENT HAS FAILED Obama".
  18. Great day for a super truck show.Had the R model there, loved that red B61 with the custom pickup body.
  19. I've seen them 2 blue ones, you are right they are old and ugly. They weren't cared for very well over the years.
  20. Jesse Baro hauled a lot of stone for us when we did drug plant out in Collegeville back in the early 90's.Good outfit always had Macks and kept them nice.
  21. I see the ABC's truck going by my shop everyday, hauling concrete for the Walsh job.
  22. This truck is about as rust free of a truck that you will ever find.Next to my b87 that i'm doing now it's the best cab i have seen in a long time. The cab, hood, fenders are worth the buy it now price, with the price of good body work now a days. The painting of the frame is nothing compared to rust problems. The WB is long enough to make into a dump or a rollback.
  23. I was told that you won't find a triaxle between Philly and the NY state line.I've throughout about getting 2 of them one for me and the other one for my son,but I don't think the work load will last long enough.Good Luck
  24. I just got mine in the mail.
  25. With all this talk about 5-7 miles per gallon is getting me excited. Now i know my old truck doesn't have all the power of these new trucks but i will put the old girl up against anything on the road.I have a 335 cummins, triplex trans,65,000 rears. The ratio is 9.05.I get in around 3mpg empty loaded 1-1.5mpg.I can remember running out to a job we had outside of Baltimore MD,in Hunt Valley Md.We would run out rt 30 from Philly to York,PA then we would take Rt83 down to the state line.We make it out with the load but would have to get fuel before we headed home.I have the truck in the shop now doing it over. It's a 1964 Mack B873SX.Been in the family since new, wouldn't trade it for nothing.Oven in the summer, icebox in the winter wouldn't have it any other way.
