  1. That model company used particulary that F-model truck for prototyping. They took actual measurments off it as I was told by the owner. Now they offer that color scheme and the Overdorp one (shown below).
  2. Sorry to hear all that BS, hope you enjoyed the trucks and met people you liked to communicate with. The trucks you posted are really great. Very nice and interesting day cab KW cabover. Thanks for sharing.
  3. Dutch guys had a local show today and I had oportunity to be there and saw some nice Macks. Met friends who are long time members on here either. The most of trucks are well known over the net but it was a pleasure to see them in person once more.
  4. Nice shots of your R-model. I sawed a couple. Looks like you participated a big sell of old American vehicles being that busy hauling them. As always, thanks for sharing the life of your neck of the woods.
  5. Danishes have some of the most attractive looking trucks in Europe.
  6. Hmm... About no rain for nearly a month overhere.. What is the condition of the frame rails?
  7. It seems to me as a typical adventure. Some people buy rusty vehicles and make them unrusty. And call it fun
  8. Welocome to the group! Cool toys you have, must be plenty of fun. I also live in a country where Macks are really scarce and should say owning one is a real adventure. Hope you will find the way to do what you're plannyng to do about Rubber Duck replica. Vlad
  9. I like the look of that blue R. My personal preference is the later series but the earlier ones look nice and very nostalgic. Got about the smoke went away after some driving, thanks.
  10. Looks very impressive! Thanks for taking time sharing the pictures.
  11. Looks great! Hope plenty of use with that setup.
  12. Look more over that square spot on the carrier front. Usually at the right side at the the bottom are numbers indicating the ratio. They're standing apart from the rest. Something like 5.02 or 4.46 or 5.73 etc.
  13. What engine it had? Was it cold after start? My interest is not because I dislike smoke but I would like to know the reasons my one does it.
  14. As said above for any relation to rust. Looks cool. Tough as a small bulldog What is the source of blue smoke on the 2nd and 3rd pictures?
  15. I like the red trucking. You nailed that!
  16. That thing looks huge.Must be a real pleasure to own it take real ambitions to buy and restore such the toy.
  17. Thanks for postng. The pics bring feeling of old times. I have never been to America in those years but thees look like scenaries of old movies I watched alot in the past.
  18. Worth to add. The most accurate count of the reatio is count of actual number of the teeth. But complete carrier remove could be required. Talking about Mack tandem carriers you can count the teeth of the upper (bewel) set of gears through the side cover opened but not the lower (bull) ones.
  19. For the correct count you need wheels at the both sides to turn together. If you have one on the ground (locked from turning) you count must be divided by 2 since the only wheel is forsed to make 2 times more revs by differential.
  20. There was such truck for sale multiple years ago. But that was much closer to your home than to mine.
  21. Ok Paul, thank you. Very nice to see the picture and learn the fact anyway.
