  1. Nice ride Al. Probably could do another million.
  2. patdbossct. How would you compare Americans Macks vs KW's (likes dislikes) Any more Granites in the future. See your trucks on 95 all the time. Keep on truckin.
  3. Channel 8 eye candy during snow storm. Three Cherry Hill single axle Mack snow plows in a row. An rd and 2 r's.Nice. Good job plow drivers.
  4. To bad that granite wasn't another few feet advanced then she would of been blowing Mack coal
  5. Was the 3 man cab a factory option. Seems like there would have been more of them if it was.
  6. All I got to say about that 4-71 is they were lucky the old man was around.
  7. :)I remember Olson of Green bay Wisconsin bought a bunch of cracker boxes with 6v53's about 1961. They were a lot quieter than the 71's. As I remember they ran real well downhill. I think they were 195 hp @ 3200.
  8. When did mack start galvaizing the R/U models. Did they ever galvanize the F model.
  9. Looks like the camel back went back to 1929 at least.
  10. That sounds like a good point.
  11. Might be nice to see the Scania V-8 coming are way.
  12. First thing that comes to mind is like a Volvo even more than now.
  13. Saw something interesting on 95 on Monday afternoon. 3 AP Marquardt Petes in a row with new lettering and numbering scheme. Looked like script lettering going up on an angle. Have not seen the Macks yet.
  14. :bulldog3:10 wheelers are popular in all states around Ct
  15. I'm not sure where your from but Mass ,RI, maine and NY have plenty of heavy dual axles.
  16. I'll bet that v8 sounds great. What are you going to use it for. Congradulations.
  17. Never heard of a Mack and Freightliner dealership. That white F model doesn't look to bad. Is it for sale?
  18. I always thought those schnieder trailers were cheap
  19. Celli may still be a service center for Mack, but I don't believe they sell Macks. I think they sell Mitsubishi.
  20. I wonder how that breaks down manufacturer wise. I thing Englands LNG's are Macks.
  21. Looks like a rip off of the Titan/Trident/Superliner. It does have an advantage though. Cummins engine offerings.
  22. It appears that the Hayes version was an F model on steroids. I wonder who made the earlier Hayes cabover that was bigger and boxier. Sort of like a bull nose KW with the nose flattened. I wonder why Hayes never used the R model conventional cab. The Hayes cab may have been aluminum.
  23. Volvo wake up. The heavy market has gone to Paccar Star etc. -Can't see Volvo ever competing-Mack could with the right options
