    The Autocar conventional has not shown up yet on the Autocar website. It probably won't show up until they start pushing them out the door.

    Five percent market share is about close to an end game. The lack of UPS and ABF Mack orders are contributing to the five percent market share as well as a huge decline in Mack construction and refuse. End games can come on real fast. Brockway closed its doors overnight. Cat exited the diesel highway market abruptly. The Cat truck died a quick death. The MP 10 and Mack heavy haul ended overnight. Volvo could pull the plug on Mack in the wink of an eye.

    I was watching a you tube video showing coal trailer dumps in Pennsylvania coal country. Kw-Pete- Western Star-Shaker and IH dominated. Not one Mack CH or Granite. Why? No Cummins power. This is pathetic in the midst of PA. FU Volvo. Can't wait to see the A-car trailer dumps.

    The only thing that would be more exiting than this is bringing the Aussie Mack line up over here to the US and Canada. Not even being able to get a woody would beat that.🙂

    41180: Looks like Acar dealers are scarce as turkey teeth. Could not find anything in Wallingford ct. But did find-O'conner GMC Volvo, Augusta Me., Dario diesel Worcester Ma., Taylor and Loyd Bedford Ma. and Bruno Truck sales Brooklyn NY. Supposedly there are 63 Autocar full line service and sales dealerships.

    41180: You nailed it on your late 90's comment. Great history lesson on one of the main reasons Mack lost the heavy haul market. Mack did have the 565 horse Cummins in the CL but the Cl with the setback axle was not as appealing (classic look conventional) as the other vendor offerings , plus no Cat options during this period. Good wishes to the new Acar conventional. Hope they can learn from Volvo's mistakes.
