  1. damn those steel wheels really cleaned up!!! please post the process. I'm sure all of us are interested in seeing this done in the field!
  2. I did notice some parallels thou between the irt crew and the mack bunch, no matter how slick it is never run more than a single chain on only one drive axle. never use a drag chain on the trailer axle and never I repeat never put a chain on the steer axle!
  3. would love to have a dollar for every board foot that was cut while powered by that engine!
  4. careful killing spiders that way cost a guy his rental house last month in Seattle! ( what a dumb ass)
  5. well we know it wasn't Detroit diesel powered cuz the snow was still white and they didn't have a 12th truck packing oil
  6. does the truck vibrate with out moving? or does the truck have to be in motion to act up?
  7. nice wish I could justify another toy!
  8. Paul: well I guess the coal train is done then, first it was to run thru WA. but our overly cautious D.O.E. and tree huggers chased that off. But I think we still have radio active waste moving to Hanford. some things don't make any sense! I guess we will see if B.C. mack posts any thing about a coal train in Vancouver B.C.
  9. thanks again for the comments! 41 Chev: makes you wonder if all these guys are this dumb,( as long as we have grocery stores we have food ) no need for farms! all I can say is may they be the first to starve! Vlad: When I get a chance I want to head for the hills and get some pics to post, the fall will give some beautiful opportunity's to show off the area where I live and I need to post pictures of REAL mountains none of this little hump there bigger hump here stuff.
  10. glad you got her fixed just send payment to: ...............just kidding really glad it turned out ok!
  11. 1 stack sounds like the rack is stuck, remove the rectangular plate that is near the top of the pump and just below the pump plungers its about 6x2 . you will see six barrels or plungers all geared to a common rail gently move each one in a attempt to find the stuck one when all is well then you move the throttle linkage the rail will travel from one end of the pump to the other and the barrels should twist. if you cannot free it. it will have to go to a pump shop or find a good used . sometimes some on e-bay. do not loosen the pinch bolt on the barrels as you can change the fuel delivery rate thus causing one cyl. to over or under fuel.
  12. Mike: nice show! looks like one I would enjoy, will have to add to the bucket list. judging by the number of things you had there it must be close foe you. looks like the rollback was just the ticket!
  13. lookin good!! the tire carrier is normal for military 2 1/2 ton trucks.I never seen on hwy. trucks down here, most that carried a spare had it on the headache rack.
  14. Ken this one is actually closer to Mackdaddy than me, since I cant get access to my jet any more , Boise is about a 11 hr. drive
  15. you really gotta quit calling Detroit diesels Yamaha's...............Yamaha's are much more dependable than a green leaker, and generate more torque!
  16. if you plumb into the wet tank it will work just fine! mine levels at just over 60psi. The wet tank is the one behind the cab, facing front to back of the truck if you plumb into the tanks under the battery box one side or the other will level the cab. I think the cab is plumbed off of the secondary tank. if you get the wrong tank the check valves wont let it work.
  17. Yes there is a god!! finally some one that builds a ford with FORD parts none of this bastardized chev crap. (sorry Mark) maybe ole Henry will be able to quit flipin in his grave for a night Just seen a f1 a few hours ago , first I've seen in a while
  18. sounds like the slip yoke is too far out on the splines for it to have proper support. thus causing a harmonic vibration.
  19. lets see if we split the distance we could have a cook off in say Lincoln Nebraska it will be towards the end of November before I can break away !. and I will use a steer from my own heard!
  20. Hello ! I only see one problem ........ the grill is to close to the windshield

  23. Ken thanks for a pic out your back door and not a pic of your back door!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I would feel like a rat in a maze having that much corn around. Wimmin? every so often one will go by on the county rd. but not to many photogenic ones! Mrsmackpaul I just got the baler a year ago june, have put over 3000 bales thru it no problems, and was 8000 cheaper than a deere. Tim Krones have just started showing up in wa. state in the last couple of years , I don't even know who the dealer is, might have to do some home work! yes my ground is basically flat but rocky as hell ! I think I would trade the rocks for slopes. Tom no its a 6cyl. 1135 the v8 is a 1155. thanks all for the comments, time for me to get out and change water and haul hay.
