that looks like a pressure protection valve it should open above 60psi . check for a bendix # then search on line should get a proper answer. my suggestion is if you have another air source plumb it into the sec. tank then do a leak check.

Weasel I haven't done it but if I was going too I would get a filter catalogue and then look in the radial seal section and then find one that gets close since the radial seal; seals on the in side bore (most applications) then machine a adaptor to seal on the bore and then adapt to the housing. just my .02

Since we didn't get busted at Yardos joy riding in the FWD is there any of the bail money left that we set aside for emergency situations? in 1990 we got 2 rd688s trucks with near square tailgates first time the driver raised the box with the tail gate loose he put a 4" upside down vee in the tail gate, I think that happened about 10 min. after hooking up to the pup. never even hauled a load of dirt!

no when paving or spreading gravel truck and pup the gate opens later and closes sooner than a square back gate also then running truck and pup the square back gate will hit the tongue of the pup when the box is fully raised (not good) especially then jack knifed and the latch pin grabs the bottom of the tongue and racks the back of the dump box out of square or breaks off the tail gate at the mounting ears. not a good set up for steering wheel holders!

other dog what is that first critter? looks real close to what we have out west as ground hogs but ours are lighter colored
